Can you please tell me if you have a power switch on your speakers? Also please tell me how the speakers connect to the computer. Also I would like to know if you have used these speakers before? Then once those are answered I will be able to assist you better!

SOURCE: Speakers aren't turning on

Hiya,

Have you checked that the mains electricity supply is working properly? If so then what about the fuse that is inside the plug or adapter to your device?

Now there is not much in the way of either working components or issues that can make this device go rogue; so I am forming the conclusion that this is power related. Also have you made sure that the power cable and any other wiring to this device is not damaged, missing or dysfunctional?

Nowmight be a good time to pick up that multimeter and test this device electronically and see if the operational parameters are correct.

If after you have tested this and you still hve problem, do let me know, and I will work further on solving this for you.

In the meantime, I hope this is the fixya for you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely

Oz

07 ram. Clarion vz401 has blinking red light, thats it! Disconnected everything and checked fuses. Everything is fine. Will not power on no matter what i do

Hi Deli:
My suggestions:
- Use a voltmeter to confirm power supply
- Make sure power supply connected to correct wire.
- Confirm that unit is properly grounded. If ground wire, use continuity meter to confirm that ground wire is indeed grounded.
- make sure speakers are properly connected.
And last, but most important, Did the unit work before you tried to install it. There's not much fun in trying to make a dead unit entertain you.
Hope this helps.

HELP ! No/limited volume from satellite speakers

1. Make sure all wall and power outlet switches are on and that all switches for your speaker system are on. Cycle the power switch.(switch is located on the back of the subwoofer) Check power LED on left and right speakers. Is the LED on? If not, power is not getting to your speaker system. Make sure the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet. 2. Ensure that the speaker input jack is pushed all the way into the appropriate jack. Check all the connections and secure them. 3. Check the connection to the soundcard. Make sure it is connected to the proper jack. This varies from each soundcard manufacturer. (Please refer to your soundcard manual.) 4. Your volume settings are too low or muted. Increase your volume by pressing the + key located on top of the right satellite. You can also check your volume through the volume control located in the taskbar. To mute and unmute the speakers, press the + and - controls at the same time.

the part that is for your problem
This is an indication that the satellite speakers are not plugged in all the way to the subwoofer. You will hear a slight "snap" sound if they are plugged in all the way. The inputs are color coded and shape coded (triangle and square). Make sure they are aligned properly.

Arcam avr-250 shuts off?

New problem?

Did you move it recently? Sometimes the speaker wires are stripped too long and short out against each other in the back

Disconnect EVERYTHING from the unit but please take great care to document how everything is connected so you can connect it again the same way.

IF the unit powers on fine with everything dis-connected, I can assume that you have a connections problem with the speaker wires being the most likely culprit.

Make sure your speaker wires are not stripped too long where bare copper is touching other terminals OR make sure the speaker wire is pushed cleanly into the speaker connections without stray wires to cause a short.

Also make sure you have the speaker wires connected to the proper terminals and are not mis-wired into the wrong terminals.

IF it still shuts down after a few seconds with nothing connected then there is an internal problem that will need to be repaired.

Good luck.

I installed radio everything works except no sound from aftermarket speakers. Radio was hooked up in another car everything worked fine!

Double check your speaker connections. Make sure + goes to plus and - to minus (phase) and make sure all are grounded properly. Is there an amp possibly in line? If so, make sure connections are good there also make sure powered up (it happens to all of us)

I have plugged in every thing but there is no sound.

Are speakers turned on? Have you checked power cable? Are you sure that you connected everything properly?

Try (re)installing drivers for your sound card.
Please tell me which Operating system do you use and which sound card do you have and I will search for drivers instead of you.

Speakers stopped working

Hello there!
It sound a power adapter failure,
check your speakers for power failure, or bad connections,
check also your sound card, mixer, and drivers.
perhaps if a onboard sound is disable for some reason.
check that too.
Good Luck

Rear speaker connection issue

OK, the fix for the missing rear speaker sound on the DELL WL6000 5.1 Surround Speaker System is relatively simple, just 7 simple steps (Verified by Dell at http://support2.jp.dell.com/docs/acc/P121646/multlang/srg/DAO/srg_dao.pdf..

First, power down everything. Second, disconnect the rear speaker and subwoofer from the power source and wait about 5 minutes. Third, be sure the power switch is off on subwoofer and the center speaker. Fourth, plug in the power for the subwoofer but DO NOT turn on the power yet. Fifth, plug in the rear speaker power cord. Sixth, turn on the swtich on the subwoofer (this is the start of the resync mode). Seventh, turn on the center speaker power and the system will change the rear speaker system LED from flashing blue to solid blue in 5-8 seconds. The surround system is functioning again. You may test this under sound in the Control Panel but I would prefer to use a modern music CD that has Dolby Digital Support for 5.1 sound or better. YOU WILL HEAR INSTANTLY THE SOUND DIFFERENCE WHEN THE REAR SPEAKERS ARE CONNECTED.
