Question about HP OfficeJet 4215 All-In-One InkJet Printer

'Paper jam" on hp 4215 all in one while there is no paper jam

I have hp 4215 all in one model. My printer said paper jam while there was no paper jam. I tried to reset the printer by holding both # and 6 down while plug in the power. It did show the” Initiating full reset” on the screen and even let me choose the language and county. After I choose English and USA, the screen went back the old way saying ‘paper jam”

Thank you for the help!

Thank your for the suggestion. MY printer was pretty clean but i still tired to open the back cover and blow dry it as your recommended me. it still didn't work, When it said paper jam at at beginning, paper was indeed stuck. but after i dragged out paper ( the whole paper came out and no paper left inside) and push the Ok button. Paper jam statement won't go away . Even the hard reset printer (key # +6 + power) didn't solve the problem. Do you have more advice?

Ithink it is not softwere pfoblem. it is related to the sencer which is connectet to the paper feder ...etc and some time dust of printer created that type problem . in our gener al practes we solved this problem. first we should open cover and drum then blow air by blower. in this way we remove disattach ment of senser., then printer can work.

My printer says paper jam but i see no paper jam

There might be paper jammed internally or the spool might just be stuck. On the back of your printer should be a removable panel(it may be on the bottom depending on you make and model). After removing the panel if no pape jamer is visible try rotating the spool and reconnecting.

Paper jam

Not all printers support all paper types. Sometimes you'll get a jam because the paper you want to use isn't supported by your product. The HP.com site has a web page that describes how to diagnose paper jam problems.

Paper Jam page

On that page, scroll down to Step 6 where it talks about checking the paper size and type settings and see if that helps.

You can also review the paper size and type specifications for your printer to make sure the paper you are using is supported.

Product Specifications

Scroll down to the Paper specifications section of the page to compare what's listed there with the paper types you are trying to use.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Paper jam in HP 4255 office jet all in one printer

the paper path may have some jam. It may have some solid particle or paper that's causing disturbance.
If not the paper moving mechanism is having problem.
