You can try a "power down" reset by holding the power button for several seconds then powering the unit back on, If this doesn't work, then it looks like your only chance is to do the "factory reset" thing. This will likely clear out all apps and data. Make sure that your unit is running from it's power adapter, then follow the steps for the "factory reset" from your user manual.
