Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
I was told it is a virus. Help me remove from my system

I use Norton 360 and Malwarebytes. You can search the web for incredibar and will find a lot of free sites that can help you. After this if you manage to clean up your PC, invest in virus and malware software. The cost is far less than the headaches you will get from having your identity stolen or your bank accounts drained.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I'm not sure which Google page you're trying to use as your home page, but you might have a look at the Windows Vista compatibility site available by clicking here to see if your home page is supported in Vista.
That might lead to something...
Otherwise, here's a link to the help & how-to site for Vista that Microsoft offers.
As far as the Google page not loading, what version of Internet Explorer are you using? Have you gone to Windows Update to make sure your system has all required hardware updates applied? There could be some kind of driver bug with your hardware that hasn't been worked out yet.
It seems to me this would have something to do with the way your Gmail is set up rather than Vista.
Have you checked at Google for known issues that you may be affected by? See link here
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to kindly rate this post....thanks!

In the navigation bar of the home page , click on " Tools \ Internet Options \ General " . Delete the Google URL in the Internet adress panel and type the Yahoo URL . Click on " apply " at the bottom , close the window and reboot your computer . Yahoo appears as your home page . Look now in the Yahoo settings and check " set Yahoo as the default search engine " or something like that .
Go back now to the home bar above your home page and click on " safety \ in private filtering " to block all unwanted interference .
Best regards ,
