Question about Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera
Under menu in the setup section, there is an option for battery type. The choices are Alkaline, COOLPIX(NiMH), and Lithium. Make sure you pick the right option for the kind of battery you are using. I recommend using NiMH.

Check if the charger is working. If yes Firstly, make absolutely sure that you have a pair of fresh HIGH QUALITY batteries, in fact go and buy a couple of duracells. Digital cameras are notoriously power hungry and it is very possible that a pair of cheap standard batteries will not be able to run it for more than a few minutes. Check that the terminals of the batteries and the camera are clean. If none of this works, and you did have fresh alkalines or equiv. then it will have to be returned for repair.
