Avh p2300bt quit working all of a sudden when i switched from music to video card what happen wont come back on

Look for something that says 'PLAY'. Stop is the opposite command. Did you check the manual?

Replace your Driver side switch. It obviously has become corroded or shorted out from moisture. This happens a lot when people forget to put their windows up before a rain.

I have an avh x5500bhs which is similar to yours and you can only look at pics or music with the USB. It may work for videos but they would have to be in the right format

I am actuall getting the same EXACT problem. I was actually able to connect another Ipod and it worked fine!! I dont know what the problem is but if you have got it taken care of...you can let me know what you did?

Shut the radio off. Touch top right of screen. Once done, hit AV Menue. Initial Setup. AUX1. Switch to Ipod. Once done should work. If not make sure the 3mm jack is plugged into the aux input into the back.

your problem is optical lens or suggest you change it

sounds like when you wired the harness up you messed up some where, make sure all the wire colors match up.. yellow to yellow red to red.

I have the AVH-P5000DVD unit and that happen to me. I tuned on the Backgound (inside the DVD AV menu) in the system menu and lost the picture but still had the audio. I set it back to off and the video came back.
