SOURCE: Boulder 3 Mountain Bike..location of serial number

Serial Numbers are usually in one of two locations.

  1. Turn the bike upside down and look at what is the very bottom of the frame where the pedals and cranks pass through. This is the bottom bracket shell. Serial numbers are commonly stamped here and will be a long series of numbers and letters
  2. Occasionally they are also stamped inside the rear dropout on the left or right. The rear dropout is the part of the frame where the rear wheel is connected.

Haro mountain bike t-6/606/serial no.d240031084

Price and value of a bike are based on more than a serial number. The main variable is condition but color, tires, number of gears and type of seat are also considerations. Look on ebay for a Haro mountain bike, chances are there is a bike like your listed for sale.

Where is the serial number on a davinci chili pepper

On almost all bikes the serial number is either on the outside of the left rear dropout (where the axle sits) or under the bottom bracket (where the crank axle goes through the frame).

Raise handlebar stem on a K2 Attack Mountain bike

you can't tell without looking to see what is on the bike but if it is a thread-less stem you can try taking handlebar off an then take stem off head tube and turn it a 180 degrees, the two are connecting the opposite things. that should raise the angle of the stem and bring handlebar up. that is a free solution.

The only way to do this is to get new stem with the bigger angle degree. If not sure, get the adjustable stem.

Need to no year make and model of trek bike bye serial number

Hi

Trek's serial numbers are on the underside of the bottom bracket. Flip the bike over and read the letters and numbers. It will look like this :

9000697000480

This would be a Trek 9000, made in June 1997 and number 480 off the production line.

Hope this makes sense and you can decipher your bike. Vote for me if this helps, thanks.
