See if there are any accessible screws to open the unit and clean it, or if there are any tiny opennings so you can blow with some compressed air.

How to set it to come on at 1.30am whatever the length of the program. i have a 24hour timer on the plug which is set to start at 1.30am but my new machine doesn't start!

I recommend to read very well your instr. manual how to programm and go the section troubleshooting for to resolve the problem doesnot start.

1. No power to the washer
Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Lid switch
The washing machine may not function if the lid switch is defective. The switch is usually located near the door. Replace if found defective.

Model dehumidifier DDR2611/4011, how do you set the timer? What is the on and off timer for, and the 24 hours?

Boy you know you're in trouble when a web search for your product gives fixya on page 1 google.
There is a product manual for your dehumidifier Sept 2012: but it doesn't say how to set the timer. What a doofus manual.
http://www.danby.com/cms/products/en_manual/Manual_for_DDR26114011_%282%29.pdf
There is a customer care phone number:
http://www.danby.com/en/CA/customer_service

On and OFF are probably manual override, so you can operate unit without timer.
24 hour means a 24-hour military-time clock without am and pm. So 1pm is hour 13, and 8pm is hour 20, and 1am is hour 1, etc.
+/- set the humidity

Best guess for Seting the timer.
Press and release clock (timer) button. You may have to press and hold.
And probably auto start is first thing on menu.
Press + or - button to select start hour from 1 thru 24.
Press clock (timer) button again.
And probably auto stop is next.
Press + or - buttons to select stop hour from 1 thru 24.
Probably you press clock button again to exit timer programming.

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

Based on your post I understand you have a Whirlpool dryer that you stated "
set the timer and press the start button, you can hear the timer running but, the drum doesn't and the heating elements don't heat", correct ?

Having said that, by far and away the most common and the first thing I'd look for on these dryers is the fuse which is located on the blower housing, not likely the timer or start switch.

**Unplug the dryer from the wall before performing any service or removing any panels...safety first**

You can use the link below for a tutorial video to locate, test and replace the fuse that is specific to your model.

**please check the part with an ohm meter or "jump it out" (if you know how, if not, check the second link it will show you) before replacing it...the timer or start switch is possible, just not as likely as I mentioned**

Hi when i set the microwave at 100 watts for 1 min it starts and stops working by itself when timer reaches 38 sec and it also dosent make the beeping sound in the end.please help

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes and try again.

My raindrip water timer model r672c works but will not shut off. can it be fixed

I'd buy a new timer of a different brand. I have tried several of these and there are fundamental problems. In my case. I set the frequency. OK. I set the time. OK. After about 10 seconds it shuts off and doesn't start again. Same problem with 2 units. It I'm tired of messing with it. I certainly wouldn't trust it if I had to be out of town for a few days. Look into the DIG EZ. I've had great luck with them.

I have GE Model #15089 digital timer. I want to reset time to come on to 7:30 pm and turn off at 10:30 pm. It was previously coming on at 6:00 pm and off at 10:30 pm and working fine but when I tried...

The problem with answering questions where somebody cannot program a timer, or programming stopped working, is that expert doesn't know if timer is defective, or needs to be reset, or timer has conflicting programming, or if person has mis-read the instruction manual, or if wrong button sequence is being used, or if internal battery has gone bad, or if circuit has interference or loose wiring, or if light bulb burned out, and however expert guesses, the person asking question is unhappy because the timer still doesn't work and/or the manual still doesn't make sense.

I work with timers every day and suggest the following steps to get started:
Reset timer and try setting program again.
Write out steps in manual at point where timer doesn't seem to work.
Double-check that you are pushing correct buttons all the way down.
Make sure same days of operation are selected for ON and for OFF. For example if ON is set for all days, and OFF is set for Tuesday, then timer will not work as expected.
Reset timer and make sure there are no conflicting or overlapping programs, or timer will not work as expected.
Test outlet with cheap circuit analyzer from home center, try timer on different outlet, try timer on different Load, check that Load works when plugged into outlet without the timer.
Save some headaches listed above, and buy another 15089 at Home Depot and return defective one in new package.

Would like to know how to set machine to start at a later time

Since you haven't listed the model or make of the bread machine, there is a simple solution for this problem that will work or any make or model bread machine.
Using an "outlet timer" or sometimes known as "appliance timer" you can set your bread machine to receive power at a particular time in the day and you can even set it to turn off at a specified time too!
eliteandres.jpeg Above is a picture of what one of these devices looks like. These can be found at home improvement stores or online.
Step one: Plug the outlet timer into the wall Step two: Plug the Breach Machine into the outlet timer, and leave it in the "on" position. Step three: Set the timer to turn on at the specified time.
The bread machine will receive power at whatever time you set the timer to turn on and since its in the "on" position it will automatically start making the bread.
