Try removing the battery. If it returns to that screen, there is not a lot you can do.

LG Xenon dropped in glass of tea.

So now you have "rice tea"? Try to recover it by opening it up and removing everything you can (battery, sim card, etc). Help it dry using a dry, clean source of blown air for 1/2 hour or so. Work the air around to blow out any moisture. Wait a day or so and do it again. Then assemble it and tell me and your friends if you liked the rice tea recipe.

Got tea on my laptop

As i understand, the system seems to be working fine after the spillage ... there shouldnt be any issues other than the keyboard being sticky .
If the tea had seeped in then it could have fried the Motherboard. However , you could reach HP for support incase of any issues , if you tell them that the tea was spilled on the system then they might not cover the issue under warranty.

My wife spilled tea on her Dell Inspiron 5100. Now when attempt to start up goes to a black screen with blinking cursor and beeps incessantly. What does this mean, and can I fix it?

add milk!
well spilling tea on the keyboard has most likely fritzed the circuit The beeping and blinking, depending on the number of beeps relates to no monitor and no keyboard.wich seems to fit your description of the fault without having to count
As for fixing it yourself? I wouldn't attempt it.. too many levels to wade through and an expensive fix. anyway. cheaper to buy a new one
Try making a claim for a replacement on your home insurance as a fusion claim. ge3t a new laptop. Perhaps the brands that was used at the Olympics that can sustain dropping and water spills. Vario I think it was.

Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

Spilled drink on driver door, now passenger window stuck down

maybe its not to late?what alot of people dont know is BABY WIPES is the answer; lets start at the drivers door it all started here if you can get the buttons popped up out of the panel and give them a good cleaning with baby wipes leave out for 5/6hours to dry.replace.allways remember the drivers door resets all doors. If your happy put everthing back into position.then with car running .pull the switch ie;drivers window switch to auto up,this should reset all windows. If it fails keep trying.it will work in time .adrian
