Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
Have you checked in your device manager and made sure that the driver is properly loaded? You can get there by right-clicking on your "My Computer" icon, choosing "properties". Click the Hardware tab and choose Device manager. Look in your device manager for a yellow triangle or a red X. If this appears, reload the audio driver available from the manufacturer's website.
PS - please make sure that your volume is turned up :-)
