Actually it will very hard for you to access the ink pads for it was designed to be only touched by their service center. I would pressume your printer is giving you errors on waste ink pads full? Try this to reset the counter and be able to use your printer again..

To change your default printer, simply go to start, then settings, then to printer and faxes from there you will find the printer and double click the printer that you want to become your default printer. It will show the check mark to that printer that you choose. Good luck!

The following may work: remove all the ink supplies. Remove the printhead and soak it for about 5 minutes in 0.5" of very hot water. Gently blot the printhead on a soft damp paper towel to remove the excess water, then replace in the printer and then reinstall the ink supplies.

Most likely the Print Head is clogged for that color. You can either do a head cleaning. If that doesn't work.

Take the cartridges out and put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol in the bottom of each head where the ink goes thru. Let that sit for a few hours, then reinstall the cartridges and run the head cleaning cycle a few more times.

Sometimes the computer will not detect the presence of the printer, if it was not on. when you turn the PC on. Do the steps in this order
Turn the printer ON first,
Then turn the computer ON.

hi.think there is software on net to reset ink counter.try ssc software utility in search.varoius options in menu.select your printer in menu.should have option ink counter reset
