How do you disable recovery commander for windows 7? We went to msconfig and hid all ms services, but Recovery commander is not on the list. where would I find it?

If you have Fix It the solution appears to be run Fix it, at the top select 'settings' then on the left 'recovery', then 'recovery commander' on lower top toolbar. Uncheck 'Detect when a set up program is launched....' and that should cure it. Find Fixit here:

One of my children deleted my account I dont know how and i was the only administer account and i had parental cotrole on there accounts so know i dont know how to git past the parental account.

Here is your only option besides trying to restore, or using the recovery partition to the way it was from the factory. If you do have to recover make sure you back up all important data to a thumb drive first. And for future reference always have two administrator accounts password protected.
There are numerous hacks that can be used, and I would advise people against
them. Instead, stick with XP and work through the problem. To restate the
problem, if the admin account has been disabled (to the best of my knowledge
there is no way to delete it completely!) you will come to the windows login
without a login name. You can press ctrl+alt+delete twice to pull-up a
log-in screen and when you type in "administrator" and enter your password
(if you have one!) it will say "Your account has been disabled. Please
contact your systems administrator." Obviously you can't go much further
with this. Instead, re-start your machine and keep hitting F8 and enter safe
mode with command prompt. You should be able to hit ctrl+alt+delete twice to
pull up a log-in screen again and re-enter administrator and whatever
password you may have. That will take you to a command prompt "C:\ documents
and settings/administrator." Now you are in business. Simply type "control"
at the prompt and press enter. This should bring up a message that allows
you to enter Windows recovery function, and it will also open the control
panel. Click on Administrative Tools and then Local Security Policies to
bring up the settings. On the left side bar you can select Local Policies
and then Security Options and Enable the Administrator Account the same way
you may have disabled it.
Thank you and good luck,
Lee

How do I disable Recovery Commander on Windows 7? It's so annoying that every time I launch a MS Office application the Recovery Commander is launched.

For you to Stop it you need to stop the services running for it. Follow the steps below.
Click on Start and then Click on run. Type msconfig. In the System Configuration utility screen click on services tab (Its on the Top). Once you are on that screen check the option Hide all Microsoft services. Then look for Recovery Commander. Uncheck that. Uncheck the Hide all Microsoft applications again. Click on apply. Then click on OK. Reboot the computer. You will System Configuration utility screen. Check the Option Don't show this message again and then click on OK.
Note: DO NOT uncheck any Microsoft Services.
If you want to delete it or remove it from the computer then install Revo Uninstaller (Freeware).

Describe how to retrieve the asus pc password

Try to remove it with Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0.
It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password. I Wrote it to an old 128mb USB flash drive do this. Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm. Source(s): http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oG…

I accindentally deleted my administrator account and cant download any thing and can't remove and add any thing and ca't use the program which downloaded using the administrator account. HELP! PLEASE.

Well you could please try this.
Please re-start your machine and keep hitting F8 and enter safe mode with command prompt.
You should be able to hit ctrl+alt+delete twice to pull up a log-in screen again and re-enter administrator and whatever password you may have. That will take you to a command prompt “C:\ documents and settings/administrator.”
Now you are in business. Simply type “control” at the prompt and press enter. This should bring up a message that allows you to enter Windows recovery function, and it will also open the control panel. Click on Administrative Tools and then Local “Security Policies” to bring up the settings.
On the left side bar you can select Local Policies and then Security Options and Enable the Administrator Account the same way you may have disabled it.
Of course another possibility and perhaps simpler option is to revert back to an earlier setting using the recovery utility.

I want to delete recovery commander from my commuter

Recovery Commander™ can restore your non-booting system back to normal. It only takes a few minutes to get your system back up and running. Recovery Commander provides enhanced tracking and recovery features for unparalleled protection and can usually avoid the need to reload or re-image your system. And unlike Windows System Restore, it doesn't require you to successfully boot Windows to restore your system.
