New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Btinternet rejected my password to obtain my E mails

If you normally use an email program like Outlook or Mac Mail, try logging in to your webmail. If you can see your webmail OK, then it's likely to be a problem with the way your email program is set up.

I cannot get or send emails. my server is not working

This indicates either an incorrect password or server settings. Make sure your account is setup as follows:

IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
Port: 993 (this should be automatically populated if you tick the SSL Encryption)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or @btopenworld.com part
Password: your btinternet password
Root folder/path:
Folder separator: . (full stop)
Please do NOT enable "secure password authentication" (SPA). It's not needed when you use SSL encryption and won't work.
If your IMAP client supports it, we recommend you also set up the following folders:
Trash
Sent Items
Drafts
POP3
Server: mail.btinternet.com
Port: 995 (this should be automatically populated if you tick SSL Encryption)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or @btopenworld.com part
Password: your btinternet password
POP from folder: By default, POP will pull emails from your Inbox
SMTP
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com
Port: 465 (this may not be automatically populated on selection of SSL, so you'll need to check this)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Authentication: PLAIN
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or @btopenworld.com part
Password: your btinternet password

Hi
Being a BTinternet customer myself, I am not surprised that you have a problem IF what you have put here is correct because the server you require is "mail.btinternet.com" NOT "mail.btinternet.co" as you state.
Cheers

Every iPad should be capable of sending email. You first have to setup the account, in settings, then email, then add new account.
While entering a new account, you have to fill in all settings correct, so you need to know it it is a POP or SMTP server, you must fill in the complete and correct e-mailadres and server name and the correct password. if filled in and you press next, the program will check the validity of the address. Only if the address exists and the password is correct it will tag everything green. Then you can use the mail address. It must be an existing mail address. You can't create new addresses in that part.
I'm not sure if you are running the iPad on a G3 or G4 network from BT, because that firm can try to block other mail, to save bandwidth, but I don't believe that.
You should be able to setup the BT account. If you keep having trouble setting up the BT account, visit a bt store and ask them to setup your mail address

How to set up xbox live

To Set up an account on xboxlive
First you need to have a valid and active email address that need to associate to windows live,it is a requirement for every xbox's account online, but if you have a email yet,no need to worry because windows live can be a email, note if you have hotmail, live or MSN email no need to register the email for windows live because these are microsoft services, now for those who are not please follow these easy steps:

1. login to www.live.com on a computer
2. click on sign up
3. for those who havent got any email yet you can create an email but for those who has email already and they want to use their own personal email please click the link that say: " Or Use your own e-mail address ".
4.please provide your information, and also please provide a alternate email address, now for those who don't have a alternate e-mail address, please click the link that say: " Or choose a security question for password reset". This is for requesting of password reset just in case you forgotten the password for the email.

Now, if you have done these steps, let's proceed in creating an account.
on your xbox 360 please go to the dashboard screen and go to " my xbox" option and then select profile as you can see there is shadow figure of a person but soon after you created a profile that shadow figure will be a yourself cartoon.then select join xbox live,it will ask for name and profile name, note name is different from your profile name, profile name is also called gamertag, this will be your name on every game that you will played online and offline, then it will ask for your e-mail and password and it will also ask you to choose a membership rate note you need a credit card for this, but for those who has a prepaid card gold subscription, please select you are not interested (I'll include the instruction on the last part) then it will ask you to create a avatar, remember the shadow figure that you see on your screen before you create an account, this will be it,so you will design your avatar the way you want to be after you create the account you now have a xbox live account.

For those who use prepaid subscription, once you have created the account please follow these simple steps:
1.press the guide button (silver button on the controller)
2.go to "Marketplace" blade
3.select the option "redeem code"
4. Enter the 25 prepaid code
then there you have a gold subscription/membership,

Now,if your have hard time redeeming the code, please go to the website www.xbox.com,then sign in (sign in logo can be seen at the upper part of the website in line with marketplace),once you have sign in,click the marketplace link, once it open you will see my account option,hi-light the my account and you will see a option for redeem code, you can redeem the code here.

Thanks!

How to create my email address?

Before you create an account on Facebook, you need an email address and a password. Facebook is not an email provider. You can send messages inside your network but it's different.
If you need to create an email address you can use, gmail, Yahoo, hotmail, or others email providers...
-> To create an email account with gmail: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount?service=mail&continue=http://mail.google.com/mail/e-11-42e66def9bd9490d5e21452dac1c1-8337e479b93caffc42b938546582d58911f3a844&type=2
-> To create an email account with Hotmail: https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx?ru=http://mail.live.com/%3frru%3dinbox&wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=10&ct=1240863109&rver=5.5.4177.0&wp=MBI&wreply=http://mail.live.com/default.aspx&lc=1033&id=64855&mkt=en-US&bk=1240863486&rollrs=12&lic=1&CMXID=2120.BBA76051-6656-4107-B533-A98B5A908596&WT.srch=1
-> To create an email account with Yahoo: https://na.edit.yahoo.com/registration?intl=us&origIntl=&done=&src=&last=&partner=yahoo_default&domain=&yahooid=
Simply follow the instructions written on these pages. Remember your password.
Hope this helps.

How can I receive my email from Microsoft Windows Mail to my Iphone?

Go to:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Add Account > Other > Add Mail Account
From here complete all the fields: Name (Your name) Address (email address of account your adding) Password (password used to log into the email account) Description (Anything you want)
Now, once this is complete, it may retrieve the correct mail settings for you (some accounts do) however if it asks you for a pop3 setting and a smtp setting, then use the following:
pop3.live.com smtp.live.com
that should be everything you need :)

Sending email

here are the settings for btinternet, if you use "outlook" you must manually configure them!

  • The POP3 server (incoming mail) is mail.btinternet.com
  • The SMTP server (outgoing mail) is also mail.btinternet.com
  • Both need your BT Yahoo! email address and password; you will have to tell your e-mail program that the SMTP server requires authentication.
  • The SMTP server can use either port 25 or port 587.
The most common fault is to provide your ADSL username and password when your BT Yahoo! username and password is what's required.

good luck and regards
