Question about PfaFF Creative 7570
To access the tension disks, remove the top of the machine as follows: 1. With the carrying handle raised, remove the cover (the piece that has all the stitches pictured). 2. Unscrew 2 screws completely; one is in the depression where the thread spool goes and the other is right behind the bobbin winder. 3. pull straight up. You may have to jiggle it a bit. 4. you should be able to see the tension disks from here.

SOURCE: threading a pfaff creative 7570
Always thread the machine with the presser foot up. This keeps the tension disks open while you are threading. Open the lid on top. Put thread on spool holder. Go directly to your left and down the path on the farthest left. Go all the way to the bottom and bring the thread up on the path closer to the spool. Hook the thread through the metal piece that moves up and down while sewing. It should be in the highest position when threading. Run the thread down and clip into the small metal holder above the needle. Pull down needle threader, draw thread across front of it from left to right and pull through needle.

SOURCE: Jamed Pfaff CD 7570:
Your machine probably has a thread lock which is a piece of thread caught in the hook. If this is the problem then here is the solution.
Grasp the hand wheel and turn it back and forth, increasing the amount of force used each time. It should break free after about 4-6 tries

The software you need to connect the Pfaff 7570 to the PC and to create your designs is called PC-Designer version 2.2 from Pfaff. You may be able to find a used copy. The software should come with a dongle (special cable) for connecting the machine to the PC. Make sure you have this piece because it will not work with an ordinary cable. Depending on what type of port you have on the PC to connect to, you may also need an adapter since the dongle has an old style connector on the end going to the PC. If you are going to create your own designs, you will also need a storage card which inserts into the machine that you send the designs to. Pfaff makes one, called the creative card. I have also used a generic card meant for the pfaff; the generic card is less expensive and has a greater capacity. You can find many designs online either free or for sale to send from PC to Pfaff as well.

I have a Pfaff Creative 7550, and i have problem. When pressing the foot pedal starts stitching for 3 seconds and stops. I have checked the foot pedal and cleaned it and it is fine. However if i help a bit with the hand wheel having the foot pressing the pedal it starts working for other 3 seconds and stops again. I can go on and on with this... What can be the cause of it?
