SOURCE: Systems shut down

Sounds like a software error, Try using system restore to set back the pc to an earlier time. Also try starting up in safe mode and uninstall any software that you may have installed.

SOURCE: shut down when using laptop

Pull the memory stick(s) out of the motherboard and run a single 1x512 in the top slot (under the keyboard) as well as remove the bottom cardslot device as the motherboard had a short causing this on the bottom half (where heat builds up). With these limits (max 512mb and no bottom cardslot usage). It will work great now.

Lcd screen stays on when computer shut down

Put the old screen back on to see if it does the same, if it does not, the the new screen may not be the exact replacement. Is the new screen used or brand new? Please post back.

E machine monitor turns itself off and on

The same thing happened to me today. I was just sitting in my room then i hear a click and the cpu is on it stays on for a while then cuts off. It then cuts on and off with few seconds in between. It then stays in that way cutting and off for about a minite or two and then cuts off completely. A few minutes later it starts again. Also in the time it its off it will not turn on by pressing the power button. Sometimes it completly boots up by itself and then shuts itself down. If I shut it down manually while its on it'll turn itself on immeditaly after. What's going on! Will the warranty cover it? Do I need a new computer?

Tv shuts itself down

This is due to bad caps read here what a cap is www.badcaps.net see you tv is getting hot as normal but the caps cannot stand it any more thus shutting the tv down. The bad caps would be more or less in the power supply unit of this TV. So you can buy a new psu or get it repaired by a expert.

Computer keeps shutting off

Hi,
The problem more likely seems with the power supply or the front power button. Donnot try switch on the computer again and again it may cause damage to the motherboard. Use the following link to pin point the problem.
