Hello Moneymakey, have you sorted out your machine's problem?

I had the same problem on my HP t350.uk machine but with different symptom.

It first appeared one year ago when my daughter switched off the machine (everything was fine up to this point) at night. The next day, the machine could not be started but she noticed the machine's power supply light was flashing. It was in this state for a few hours as she does not know what to do. Then suddenly the flashing stopped and machine can be started and everything returned to normal.

Then about half a year ago, I turned off the machine to add some memory (from 512mb to 1.5gb) and could not start the machine while the power supply light was flashing. My daughter told me the trick but it did not work after a few hours. So I left the machine connected to power over night. Next morning, the flashing was gone and everything returned to normal.

But later on, the machine occasionally ran into a freezing state, not responding to any input.  So a few days ago, I turned off the machine, and did some connection checking on the motherboard. But this time, the flashing never stops flashing, even after I have unplugged almost everything.

The flashing stops only after I unplug the power to the motherboard. By manipulating this power cable to the motherboard, I can manage to turn the flashing to the constant flashing, but the machine still can’t be turned on.

I was just wondering this event sequence would inspire any useful trouble shooting thoughts

SOURCE: Plasma TV-power light does not come on

Hello!

most probably the fuse inside the circuit blown out, You should open the back of the tv to become circuit board visible. But this hard when novice do it.

To be sure that everything will be alright i would rather suggest you to bring the tv to the nearest service center. maybe warranty work for that.

best regards,melnavz

Sliding gate wont always open

Since there are few details on the circumstances of when it won't open provided I will try to guess what is happening.

Usually this is related to the strength of the transmitter (clicker or remote) signal. If you have radio interference from ham radios, air fields or other government agency, it will affect the reception or your gate receiver. Other common issues include the distance from the operator, how long you hold down the button, and the age of the battery in the transmitter.

You might try extending the receiver antenna up higher. If this makes it worse, you may need a directional antenna like the Linear EXA 2000.

We have also found the Linear SMDRG narrow band receiver to work well when we have interference issues.

I need a owners manual for a Sunquest Pro 24 RS, Wolff Systems tanning bed

Have a trained technician to look at it. You probably have a loose wire nut in the wall box if it is hardwired or a loose connection on the wall receptical. The screws on the recepticals can come loose when pushing the receptical into the wall box. Most new construction uses plastic wall boxes so shorting out the receptical screws to the box should not be a problem. It is possible that the bare ground wire inside the box is hitting one of the receptical screws. If so, then push the bare wire away from the screws with an insulated screwdriver.

Very bad am radio reception, how do i fix?

If it's interference from the high tension wires, you probably need new spark plug wires with good resistor type plugs.
Now,also a bad antenna or a poor match of frequency to the antenna from the rec eiver can cause weak reception.Anyone who knows electronics can match the antenna to the receiver. don-ohio

Bad reception

Sounds like you have an antenna problem. Find where the antenna plugs into the radio. Unplug it and find a nail or something the same diameter as the center pin wrap about 3-5 turns of a four foot piece of wire around the nail and plug the nail into the antenna input on the radio. If it clears up reception you have a bad or grounded antenna. Follow the antenna wire back to the windshield or fender etc. mounted antenna, sometimes there are other plug in points that get knocked loose.

Bad radio reception

Problem: Radio Reception is bad to non-existant. AM is usually worse than FM.

Reason: Antenna connector has come loose, and needs to be reconnected. This happens when a passenger pushes the carpet toward the firewall and disconnects the plug.

Affected Model Years: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003

Permanent Fix:

1. First check to make sure the antenna at the back of the radio has not come loose.
2. Remove the plastic cover on the front passenger door threshold held in place by three pressure clips.
3. Peel back the carpet on the front seat passenger floor.
4. Locate the coax antenna cable running along the side.
5. Reconnect the two pieces of antenna that have come loose.
6. Roll the carpet back, and re-install the threshold cover.

Sounds like the laser is off place. The laser will go back to the end of the track it rolls on before it will open the gate. This could also be the problem with the CD Skips.

Now I don't want to tell you to open it up and explain how to fix it, but I will say if you have a computer shop in your area, they would fix it for around $50-70 at most.
