Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the
second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold
water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to
rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the
washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the
suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.
Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?
Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

It's actually a DE error code which stands for drain error. Pull the little basket out that's behind the small door on the lower left front (where the drain hose is) and look inside. The drain pump intake is about an inch in on the left. Make sure there's nothing in there like a paperclip or hair pin. If possible reach in and see if you can turn the impeller. If it won't move there's something in there if it will turn then the motor is probably bad.

All of the ways to solve this problem are right on--take the filter out (in front on the bottom left when facing the machine). Before you do, take time to drain out the water with the hose below. Once drained open the filter and clean out. Try on speed wash with no spin. Nine minutes in you will know if the drain works. If not, turn on side and remove the washer pump. To do this, remove the hoses first starting with clamps. Then remove the three screws in front where the filter is. It easily comes out. The top pump is the drain pump. First mark the wires--blue is positive and black is negative. Remove the pump and clean out.The pump comes out of the casing. Try removing this and cleaning. If you have a power source, test the pump. If works, put back and start in fast cycle with no spin. If not, then you have to replace the drain pump. You will not find anyone in town the has the pump unless you live in New York or Dallas Texas. To get the pump at a reasonable price and expedited call and order through Sears at 18004881222. These guys are good and well get it to you as promised. The entire job once recieved the pump took about 30 minutes. Also, saved about $100 in labor. Good luck and hope this helps...

Hi dear.OE code meaning on Lg washer's"machine unable to drain in 10minutes". You can make a little test. Please remove the filter & pour some water in side drum ,watch for water coming out of filter. If it's slow, tub to pump hose clogged.(there must be some sort of fluff or coin clogging hose)if it's not slow, waters comes out freely, run machine on drain cycle & check the pump motor is it running smoothly? If not change the pump.I hope that helps.Thanks.

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..

Tips for a great answer:
An OE error indicates that the washing machine
has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes. However, the OE error
code does not always mean that the washer requires a service call. If periodic
maintenance has not been performed on the washer, there are a few simple steps
to take before calling for service.
*Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent
proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives
used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a
towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter
thoroughly and restart the machine.
*Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the
washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more
than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.
*Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not
drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice
versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If
this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied
leveling wrench. When you place a LEVEL on the washing machine, the bubble
should be in the center. Confirm that the washer is leveled from side to side
and front to back.
Hope this helps.. A 4 thumbs-up rating is greatly appreciated for answering your free question. Thank you in anticipation.. Good luck! ;)
