My robot keeps saying "move from wire". I do that but, it still says it. How do I fix it?

Check around wheels to see if something has wrapped around the axle, causing computer to sense a problem. If this doesn't work check for reset button somewhere on the unit. If that doesn't work then disconnect the battery, that should reset the unit. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

I have a Prowler 720 pool cleaner. While the light comes on the device does not move, the fan on top is not spinning. I'm assuming that the drive motor is not working. Since the mechanism is basically...

The problem may be simpler than you think, Patrick. The robot's power cord must be plugged into the power supply port in a particular way. The male prongs on the robot's power cord are numbered, 1 through 4. Each of these male prongs must be plugged into the power supply port's corresponding number (e.g., 1 must be plugged into 1, 2 into 2, etc.). Do anything else and you get a motionless robot. I hope this helps.

I connected my timer according to instructions but the timer doesn't move.

Timer is not identified:
1) Add a comment with clear description of timer for possible help, and include photo of timer posted on flickr. Also include what steps you took to connect timer, including voltage, wire colors, type of Load (light, fan, motor) being controlled.

2) Question posted under Woods 83660 timer.
The timer doesn't 'move'
83660 timer plugs into outlet, and then selector-dial is manually rotated to set options.

3) Open following link to help identify timer, and then add a comment for possible help.

Speedo needle doesn't move, petrol gauge moves up and down, low fuel light comes on and off, rev needle and temp work. Rear fog lights light comes on dash when evan side lights switched on

Probably a break inside wiring loom of one/more of the three wires that eventually connect to the speed sensor on top of gearbox. The break I fixed in my 2003 Leon 1.6SX was in the loom under battery tray. My symptoms were no speedo working, and erratic fuel guage (particulary when under 1/2 full). I repaired one broken wire.

My son just received a robosapien for Christmas. I put batteries in it and the remote. The eyes only light up. The robot does not move or speak. The robosapien my son received is about 2 feet high,...

Sometimes the robot may get stuck in sleep mode. Press the power button on the robot's back (by his shoulder blade) once, and if nothing happens, wait 2 seconds and press it again. The Robosapien should begin its wakeup procedure.

The WowWee (RSD2) Robosapien V2 Robot remote worked for 5 minutes after I started working with the robot and then quit never to work again. The LEDs do not light up as buttons are pushed. Of course the...

Open the Robot, and check the cables, this Robosapiens V2 has a well known problem with the wire harness that go from main board to the bateries trough the legs. They have a major problem in the wire insulations that crumbles and short the wires. No easy solution exist. Yo need to rewire by your own or accept that will never work again.

Robotic Arm Edge not working properly

I noticed the same problem on my pin 8 - however it wasn't the issue. I had the exact same problem and emailed OWI for tech support. The problem was with the battery connector plate. The "nipple" was facing out (away from the battery) rather than in so there was no power getting to the one side. You need to take off the arm and the top two round plates, then you can slide the connector plate out, turn it around and slide it back in. Works now! (This is step 16 in the instruction booklet.)
