Ny mig 100 is not feeding the wire

Had a similar problem with my wire feed welder. The wheels would spin but no matter how tight you set the drag the wire would not feed. Is a very common problem on the Harbor Freight machines. Open up the side panel and you'll see a large spool of copper wire. The torch is connected directly to that with one of it's lines. That connection fails and burns up. Looks connected but no electricity flowing through. I cut mine loose then cut away all the burnt wire from both ends "from the spool line and the torch line" Connected them back together and then soldered the wire. After that I took an old piece of copper pipe I had and cut a copper sleeve out of it to wrap the connection. I then soldered that around the splice. Never had a problem with wire feeding since.

Trailer light connections

I have had many people ask about trailer light connection problem and the biggest one I have had to answer is.( When connected and the lights turned on than with the brake is depressed the trailer lights shut off. What causes this?)
The answer to this is simple. You have a bad ground problem between your vehicle and the trailer. This can be solved by looking at your trailer wire connection plug. Fray a little bit of the white wire on the plug. some place easy where you can wrap it with electrical tape when you get done. Take another wire and connect it to the frayed part of the wire. once this is done take the wire and connect it to a part of the trailer that is free of debree, rust, corrosion and some place that will not be subject to coming off or broken. Once this is done turn your lights on and depress the brake. If your lights do not go off than permamantly attach the wire to that location and wrap the wire at were you have frayed it.

If this does not fix the problem than look at the connection on the vehicle. Once again take another wire and connect it to a frayed point on the white wire of the vehicle. find a spot on the vehicle to connect the wire to. than try your lights again. This should work in all the cases i have had to deal with. if it does not feel free to contact me and i would be glad to help you at any time.

Arcam avr-250 shuts off?

New problem?

Did you move it recently? Sometimes the speaker wires are stripped too long and short out against each other in the back

Disconnect EVERYTHING from the unit but please take great care to document how everything is connected so you can connect it again the same way.

IF the unit powers on fine with everything dis-connected, I can assume that you have a connections problem with the speaker wires being the most likely culprit.

Make sure your speaker wires are not stripped too long where bare copper is touching other terminals OR make sure the speaker wire is pushed cleanly into the speaker connections without stray wires to cause a short.

Also make sure you have the speaker wires connected to the proper terminals and are not mis-wired into the wrong terminals.

IF it still shuts down after a few seconds with nothing connected then there is an internal problem that will need to be repaired.

Good luck.

I have a 2003 camry just replaced the battery and now nothing will turn on at all.

You need to check the connection cause that sounds like there is a wire connection problem. That is short circuited problem I would go and get a wire connection box they have them at auto zone and what you do is take the wire pin that is connected to the box and it will show if there is any connection going threw that wire. Like I said if one wire is bad you will have to replace the whole connector that connects to the battery

My 1995 jeep grand cherokee interior lights flash, radio turns on and off, heater controls stopped working

Lots of the older Jeeps have wiring problems. Most of the problems were caused by a really crappy block connection on the firewall behind the engine. The terminals in the connection block were very very small and failed to connect well. I have removed several of these and put individual connectors on each wire. (pain in the ****) Your problem may be related to this. In any event you have a wiring problem and you're going to have to trace it down with a multimeter wire by wire. With so many things mentioned I tend to think it is a bad ground so check the ground wires first from the fuse box to the end connection.
