This looks like the Heath Zenith SL6162/63
I have the pdf of install manual if you would like it. This wireless doorbell has over 128 codes that prevent outside interference. Here's part of the manual for changing the code:
Note: Most installations will not require you to change any of the jumpers
on your doorbell.
The doorbell button and chime communicate by using a code that can be
changed by removing and/or adding jumpers on both the doorbell button and
chime. The code is factory set; however, there are 128 selectable codes that
allow you to expand your system and prevent outside interference. Another
wireless doorbell system or other wireless products may cause interference
and the system may not function properly. Follow the instructions below for
setting a new code.
1. Disconnect the power to the doorbell button and chime.
2. Open the cases and locate the jumpers on both the doorbell button and
chime (See illustration).
Attach the back of the
case to the door jamb or
wall. Snap the front of the
button back on.

3. The doorbell button and chime both have eight different jumper locations.
The jumper positions 1 through 7 are used for setting the code.
4. To change the code, add and/or remove jumpers as needed. There are 128
different combinations. It is recommended to only change one jumper at a
time and then check to see if system is functioning properly. Note: Jumpers
in positions 1 through 7 must be exactly the same for both the doorbell button
and chime for this system to function.

SOURCE: The button you must push
Sounds like the contacts in the button are either dirty or have been bent a little. Try cleaning them and repositioning the contacts if necessary.

Sandra, the contacts in bell push may need cleaning, as well as some minor readjustment of the contacts. Insects love to get into the bell push and can clogged it up. If you find that this doesn't solve the problem, Contact the Zenith Company 800-858-8501 to purchase a replacement.

Heath-Zenith (I believe they bought DESA) makes a battery remote push button bell that says its compatible with all Heath Zenith chimes. I bought one at Home Depot and it worked for my SL-6195-RX. (an online doorbell seller and the Home Depot assoc all said it wouldn't work.)
UPC is 16963961975.
Item also shows a code "11G43" on a sticker on the back of the package.
