Question about APC Back-UPS ES 725 Broadband (BE725BB-TU) UPS System
The 3 + 1 outlets in the rear have power and work fine, but none of the front outlets have power. Is there a fix or fuses that need changing? Thank you.
If you replaced the battery, then the power transformer is damaged. The Transformer is the device that changes 100VAC to 12 Volts DC to charge the battery. If at any time the Protection (usually a red button fuse on the side) cannot be rest and the new battery fails to charge, and the entire outlets are null, then the transformer has fried. This happens when too much AC power (Surge) exceeds the limits whereby the resistors/capacitors/ and diodes pop.

The outlets that are used for Battery Back Up need a power cell that is recharged and ready to take over when a power situation requires action. If the battery no longer charges it must be replaced as the outlets will not have any power connection.

Testimonial: "We just replaced the battery within the last 2 weeks. And why would the back 4 outlets work and not the front 3? Thanks."
