Things to look at can you get to the outside of the chimney and look the other direction. Is this a new house to you so someone plugged the hole possibly to prevent heat loss because there is not a dampener inside chimney to prevent unwanted air extraction? If it is a true chimney there should be nothing combustible inside of it so definitely remove paper objects...

Cannot get the cover off the light. Have followed instructions in booklet and will not come off in anti clockwise direction.

If we are talking about the small round glass knob, sometimes they tend to stick and are difficult to turn. Use a pair of multigrips to turn the glass cover. The covers are thick glass and are pretty strong. Just be gentle.

It is probably the small round glass cover you are talking about. The glass is fairly thick and strong. Try using a pair of multigrips to turn the cover, just be gentle.

Can NOT remove glass cover to change light in oven Jenn Air W30400P

If it is the round glass cover it should unscrew. It is thick glass so you might need to try more force of tap it with a piece of wood.

My baxter rotating tray oven is not baking cookies evenly. The cookies on the outside of the cookie sheet are over-done and the cookies in the middle of the cookie sheet are not done ??

Inside your oven you have an array of louvers or fins in the back left corner and the front right corner. Sometimes a tray will jam and knock one of the louvers out of adjustment. You may need to call a local authorized service provider to come and reset your louvers to the factory settings. In the meantime you can attempt to make small adjustments to see if you can rectify the issue.

Do not ever adjust the louvers in the back left corner of the oven.
For the trays in question, to direct more air towards the center of the cookie sheet slightly bend the louvers in the front right backwards towards the rear of the oven. ONLY MAKE SLIGHT ADJUSTMENTS!! If you bend the louvers too far you will end up burning the center of the cookie sheet and under cooking the edges.

Hi,

You will need to install a flue liner ( i know its a nuisance) to allow the products of combustion to escape as quickly and as safely as possible.

If you installed a gas appliance without a liner, due to the temperature of the flue gases (lower than solid fuel) the emissions would struggle to exit via the flue terminal.

If you install the appliance following the manufacturers instructions, you cannot go wrong. The other recommendation is get a 'Gas Safe' engineer to carry out the commssioning/testing.(house insurance void if not certified)

I hope this helps.

How to change the oven light

jenn air usually hides the model number good lol if you open the door on the outer face of the oven might be a little grill where you can see inside and your model might be in there or it might be around the warming drawer if you have one
you need just a regular appliance 20v light bulb you can get at home depot or hARDWARE STORE  if you open the door on the back wall on the left or right upper hand side there is a glass bulb looking object , the material is thick glass/ plastic that just screws off lefty loosy right tighty once that is off you have access to the light bulb
if there is a little wire in front of the thick glass/plastic object just pull it up or down dont unhook it or break it off

I took apart to clean glass - think it is assembled wrong!

that glass( slanted one) is supported on top by the metal plate ( problably 3 inches wide) running across the top of the metal cover(covering the insulation level) the glass inserts inbetween 1 or 2 tabs in the metal support, it then lays on an angle against the metal cover( hoilding the insulation level) and is secured by the 1 in thick angled metal retainer. hope this was helpfull.
