Question about NEC Lands Phones

Open Question

My incoming calls are bumping my active calls

Our problem is that the incoming calls always disconnect the current calls. So when we are talking on the phone, if someone else calls, the active call will disconnect and the new call will come through. How to change the setting so that the new call gets a busy signal and the current call does not get affected? We are using NEC 22-button phones. We use Aspire WebPro to change our phone system settings.

SOURCE: Connect Phone and I/F module , "incoming call" displayed couldn't hang up.

you need to un-plug the phone remove the "mods" plug it back in and let it read not ready, turn the phone off. plug the "mods" back in ,turn the phone back on, so it can read them sequentially the should reset the system and let it "boot up" properly.
give that a shot...it should resolve this minor inconvenience.

Check if you have activated any diverts. If possible, put the sim in other handset to see if the problem persists. If nothing works, try resetting your phone or take it to the service center.

Hi, Go to Call Setting, then go to Call barring, you will a outgoing calls, incoming calls, activate all, cancel all & Change barring password. choose the "cancel all" then the call barring password is 0000. if still the same maybe someone change your barring password. try to talk to your friends to know who made it.

The device was working for 1 year without problems. suddenly the phone is ringing but i cant receive any call. i can see the incoming number on the screen of my panasonic. i can only answer from another...

This means that you can hear the ringing of the call but is not able to activate the call, so it means that the green button is not active as the call is taken.
This can happen if there is fault in the pads. You can disconnect the battery and open the phone, remove the pads and look for moisture, dirt or faulty pad contacts- the carbon film failure.
if so you need to get a repair kit to form the tracks . other wise warm the pads and reset.

My nokia 3110c shows a message like active incoming call diverts when ever i dial a number what does it mean?

It means that you have set up that incoming calls will be diverted (to your voicemail usually) when your "line is engaged", ie when you talk with someone on the phone.

There are 3 diverts: divert on busy, on not available (switched off or out of range) and on no answer (when you don't answer after a certain period).
Depending on operator, they can be activated or deactivated individually, or all three at the same time. The latter option is bad in my opinion - who needs divert on busy? If the phone is busy, try again in a couple of minutes I say...

Anyway, this message is nothing to worry about.

Samsung U700 cant get calls says I am not

try to check the settings of the phone. see if you have call barring for incoming activated ~ menu ~ setting ~ call settings ~ voice call ~ call barring ~ make sure all incoming calls is set to DEACTIVATED
you can also try to check if call divert is also set ~ menu ~ setting ~ call settings ~ voice call ~ call diverting ~ make sure always is set to DEACTIVATED
hope that helps.. :)

Can't receive incoming calls, make outgoing ones either.

Always start with taking the battery out. If it continues then you probably have a bad mic & need to have it replaced.
