Question about Dryers
My hotpoint tcl780g overheating and cut off after 5 or 7 min. After this machine will not power on . Then we change plug socket , then it will power on . Again after 5 min. it cutoff. Any idea . I change thermostat front and back . no useful . Any idea please help . Thanks
Disconnect dryer vent and run dryer. If runs/heats normally clean out your vent.

I think the problem still lies with the thermal switches, they have a tendancy to corrode where the spade connector attaches to the body (see pic)

hi its the relay behind the plastic facia normally brown with the word shrack on it with 6 wires on it this normally is the fault please leave feedback
