Question about Cameras
The battery has a diode tri switch when it gets old the battery will no longer charge all the way or when it shows charged it is not and the small capacitor in the circuit acts as a battery it is on all small cameras to prevent overcharge for old batteries if you need more help p ask me right now this is locked to another expert, I have dealt with these problems before and the only way you can fix it is to replace the battery pack

If you are using a ac adapter that goes directly into the camera instead of using a battery charger that you just connect the battery to.
make sure the new battery matches the old one.
the camera should work and turn on if it is the right battery.
Try turning the camera on does it work? if the camera works normally then there is noting to worry about.
