Question about Garden
I just started my trimmer and noticed when I give it some gas it blows smoke and sputters, then dies. I take the air filter off and it is soaked with oil when previously it was dry. I pull the spark plug and it is dripping with oil. I clean it and the same thing happens within a few seconds of starting.
If the tension screws are tight and the oil spills or leaks out, then the metal housing may have a fissure, a fine crack when under pressure spews out oil. A cracked head is replaceable.
Look for leaks from any seals also.
