Question about LG Dare VX9700 Cell Phone
It landed on the top step in the pool so it was only in there for about 2 seconds. I got it out the touch screen was still working and the battery was completely dry but i still laid it in the sun all day. Then when it got dark I heard you can take everything out and put it in a bag of uncooked rice and it would **** the moisture out. So I did. The next morning I got it out and turned it on and it was crackling. I plugged it in the charger and it stopped. It lets me turn it on but the touch screen wont work. i couldn't do ANYTHING!
PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING!
Just put it in a bag of rice for couple of weeks. The rice pulls all the water or wetness out of the phone. How do I know, Well I found a brand New Lg Dare phone in a puddle, put it in rice for 2 1/2 months. I took it out of the bag, put it together, turn it on. To my amazement it worked. Ran to store, bought a charger, and it has worked every day since.

My solution is: don't drop it in the pool.
