Please go to the link, select the model and your operating system

Alternatively, you could use the CD that came with the scanner.

There are two things, a driver and a software. From the CD or above link you can get both. But, you can even use a separate driver and software to get your scanner running.

Please drop a comment. Thank you!

Many of the older model equipment are not suited for Windows 7 or to be read in 64bit using the latest computers. That is why I still keep my old computer around.

Umax PowerLook 2100XL - Driver

Go to

this download page on the UMAX site

and select your device (Scanner), then your scanner model (Powerlook 2100XL) , and your operating system, then press the "SEARCH" key.

Each page in the Download Area is in two languages - first German, then English, so page down to the English section.
Follow the instructions to download the correct driver for your scanner / operating system combination.

Note there is currently no driver available for Windows Vista.

When you've tried this solution, don't forget to rate it !

Good Luck.

Hi, Have you tried these possible solutions; 1.Clean the surface of scanner bed. 2.Uninstalled/reinstall scanner driver/software. 3.Check scanner manufacture web site for driver/firmware updates. 4.checked the underside of the scanner glass for lint, dust that may cause a bad calibration.
