SOURCE: Good morning, I have the Hyundai

Yep, I can help but I am afraid that I won't be able to bring totally good news.

The TV is in forced standby also called "protection". Protection kicks in when an internal fault such as a short (big power draw) or a wrong voltage is detected. The click comes from a relay activated by the protection circuit to force TV to shut down.

All you can do is disconnecting the power cord, checking if there is a fuse built in the power cord, replacing fuse and connecting back after about 30 minutes (that allows power drain). If the TV does not work there are faulty internal parts that need replacement.

If now the TV does not start at all, and not even the standby light is on, then the problem is usually the PSU. The part must be tested and eventually replaced.

Shifter stuck in PARK. Is there a switch or solenoid by the shifter? How do I remove the cdentral console

There should be a small rubber plug near the shifter that you can see near the shifter, take that out and insert a key or screwdriver in it and gently press down. This unlocks the shifter. In the mean time the same circuit is wired to the brake pedal and has a switch and if it comes loose or fails then it wont shift out of park so check the brake pedal switch.

Problem powering up

By re-plunging the TV; you're making a hard reset to it each time. If it is so, the TVs' main system control IC, or its memory IC must have faulty. Anyway, troubleshooting to this type of fault will be somewhat difficult even for an experienced service technician. This is not a user repairable fault. Contact any service technician to make it repaired. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. You may have a bad brake light switch.for the windows if no switches work check fuses and relays. If just drivers switches dont work your wires may have came off inside the door.

How do you get to the instrument lights on an 88 Prelude to change the bulbs?

you have to take it out, it takes about an hour to do . if your lucky you wont break it those old plastic parts are brittle.just start taking out the screws ,there two screws behind the cluster dimmer switch and the headlight /foglight switch just pry them out with a small screwdriver. all the plugs are color coded . there are also two screws near the windshield under two square plugs that have to come out.

My 2005 hyundai accent wont shift out of park unless i use the shift lock override. any advice?

on most cars when u step on the brake pedal youll hear a "click" near the center console which is the shift solenoid releasing the "lock" on the floor shifter allowing the shifter to come out of park.check to make sure all the fuses are good and check the brake lite switch(es) and wiringfrom brake lite switch to shifter solenoid.a wiring diagram always helps.
