If your trying to get into BIOS to change settings and you forgot password you have to reset CMOS whitch set system back to default. This physically done inside computer using the jumper pins on south bridge of motherbaord.. Its a little differant on some systems so you will have to somehow refer to service portion of cumputer management inmanual or find access to MFG website for info how to reset CMOS on your system. However there is software you can obtain that you put on a USB and reboot system and tells you the passwords to the computer, but you must be cautious when useing this software exspecially when there is two operating systems installed so proceed with caution if you go this route. Good Luck !

After bios update no display on toshiba L455D-S5976

It sounds like you updated with the wrong BIOS or a BIOS version that isn't designed for your specific model laptop. You will have to revert back to your old BIOS version.

How to unlock toshiba satellite laptop BIOS and HDD

If you are the original owner Toshiba will reset the bios for a fee and it is not cheap, they may include the HDD reset, if not! www.ebay.com type password, or hard drive password. I would check bios password, probably a lot cheaper if you can find the right seller, also check www.download.com some software may be free.

I have a Toshiba laptop L455d-S5796 and when I power it on it ask for a hdd1 password which I do not have. Is there any solutions I can get around this password?

you have to take apart your laptop, remove the tiny watch battery, and reassemble your laptop. that should allow you to bypass the password during that session, then you have to flash your bios, and re-install it (bios). after doing so, shut down your laptop, disassemble it again, and reconnect the watch battery, and reassemble your laptop for the last time, and you will no longer have your hdd password issue.

How to disconect hard drive on l655n forgot bios password

You do not need to disconnect your HDD. There are different ways to reset the BIOS password. To reset the BIOS read the information from this link: http://www.fixya.com/support/r7229632-reset_or_remove_bios_password
With the Toshiba laptop last resort would be opening it up as the battery is most likely soldered to the motherboard.
