Chances are that the liquid has disovled/solidified you will need to get an engineer in to refill the gas cyclinder/or you could just try using it every few hours to see if it will release the solidation of the liuid make sure you use at least once a week in order to keep the lubrication of all components lubricated

Sometimes when the icemaker is not used,,water will thaw, drip/pool around the auger,,this will keep it from dispensing.
take the bin out, inspect all the parts for ice...ck that the on/off wire is in the correct position

Have you checked to assure the long narrow hose that comes from the upper lback left corner is attached both on top and inside the water tray? This drove me nuts for 3 hours.

SOURCE: Not making ice

If your machine is air cooled it is possible that the condenser fan motor is not running when necessary or the fan switch that turns the fan on by pressure may be defective.

Check to see if you have ice build up in the water tube behind the icemaker. Sounds like your inlet valve is bad behind the back panel on the bottom. Good luck!

Ice maker stoped making ice

Hi,
The quick answer is to turn the water off to the refrigerator so it quits making until you get it fixed.
If your fridge has the control boards in each side of the freezer cabinet that controls the icemaker, then you have a failed board.
If you have a standard icemaker with the metal shutoff arm then you have a failed motor module in the icemaker.
You can remove the icemaker and unplug the wiring connector from it so you can leave the water on to the dispenser

GE Refrigerator Stoped making ice

the small pipe in side the freezer the one that supplies water to it, it builds ice in side, you can melt the ice by getting some hot water and a towel and wet the pipe with it intel ice melts , or you can unplug the frige with the door open over night.first solution is better.
