This is your Fujitsu printer software ("helpfully") reminding you that one of your ink tanks is starting to run out. It's not empty yet, but it's letting you know so that you can buy replacement ink ahead of time.

This is normal behaviour. You may be able to turn off that warning, depending on the version of the Fujitsu software on your computer. Does that message have a 'Don't remind me again' box you can check when that message comes up? If not, you may also be able to look in the printer settings (Control Panel > Devices and Printers, then right-click your printer and try the different properties panels).

In the worst case you just have to live with it. I know it doesn't make sense for a printer to remind you about ink when you're just trying to scan. The folks that make printers aren't exactly known for their common sense.

Driver for fi-6130z

Your problem is not the driver of that scanner but the system corruption of Windows 8.1 and if you don't solve this issue now, you'll be suffering this "karma" until system finally collapses.
If Windows 8.1 update went wrong, EVERYTHING is wrong. You should backup all your data and do a factory reset for Windows 8 and then update to Windows 8.1
If Windows 8 came preinstalled in your laptop you should have a recovery partition on your hard drive.
There are several tutorials how to do a system reset. Read them and follow the one you best understand.

How do youfind scan count

If the scan count of your fi-6130 scanner exceeded 2,00,000 scans, then you may have to replace the consumable parts. After replacement of the consumables, you need to rest the consumable counters. To check/reset the Pick/Brake Roller Counter, please follow the steps provided below:

1.Turn on the scanner, and confirm if it is connected correctly to your computer.
2.From the "start" menu, select "All Programs", then select "Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows", then click on "Software Operation Panel"
3.In the dialog box displayed, from the list on the left of the panel, select "Device Setting"
4.Click the "Clear" button beside the replaced consumable under "Page Counter"
5.Click the "OK" button on the displayed confirmation message. The counter is reset to 0
6.Click the "OK" button to close the "Software Operation Panel" dialog box

Hope the above information is helpful.

Fujitsu Fi-6130Z is pausing after each page scans. How can we stop this so it is a continuous scan!

The command to scan comes from the host computer when it has recieved the previos scan and is done processing the data such as descew and borders. Faster host computer and or faster network if you are saving to a server. If the first few scans are fast then slows down then this is it. More ram in host will sometimes help.

Hi I'm getting a lower case "c" error code on my fi-6130z. Anyone know what might it be?

Hello Steve,

The flashing "c" on your fi-6130z scanner panel indicates that the ADF was opened when the status was ready("1"). To return to ready("1") status, close the ADF. If the display doesnot return to ready ("1") after closing the ADF, turn the power off then back on. If the problem still persists, you are recommended to contact an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider or the dealer where you purchased the scanner.

Hope the above information is helpful.

Thanks & regards,

After scanning several pages, I don't know how to save it as one file.

After you scan the first page, click on add another page or add more, or ahatever your particular program asks for to add another page. When you save as, the pages will all be in one document. If you scan each page, individually as a separate document, they will be just that, separate documents.
