Everything appears to be working great, but it doesn't. When I try to drop and drag podcasts from itune into my itouch, it looks like it transfers, but it doesn't really do it.
I can't see it on the itouch. when I try to copy it again, it won't copy at all because it thinks it is already there.
If i do a complete wipe/reset on the itouch via the itunes screen, everything works fine for about 2 days, then the problem starts all over again. I have to keep doing this continuallly for it to work.
The itouch worked perfectly after I purchased it for about 4 months, then this started happening.

Re: cannont transfer podcasts to itouch from itunes
It could be a bad file. If you're resetting your device, and then adding you music and such back, there may be some bad song, or app that is corrupting your device. On my Mp3 player, it would get stuck on a song that wasn't really there, so I found some corrupt goofy Weird Al song, removed it, and it never happened again.

You may transfer the Songs from the Computer to the iPod Device by using the iTunes Application.
However, please feel free to contact for further information about the Application and the detailed steps to transfer the Songs.
1 Locate videos. There are four main places where you can find legal videos intended for iPod use. The iTunes store (where videos can be directly downloaded) and video podcasts are certainly the most popular, but digital copies from DVDs as well as personal digital videos can also be put on the device. 2 Import your videos into iTunes. If you have downloaded the videos from iTunes or have downloaded a video podcast from the service, this step has been done for you (as well as step 3), and you can proceed to step 4. However, if you are trying to put digital copies, or personal videos on the iPod, put all of the videos in a central folder on the desktop. Go to iTunes and select the "Add file to iTunes" to import the contents of your folder to the iTunes program. 3 Convert non-iTunes files. iPods only work with MPEG-4 videos, so if you are uploading videos of other formats, such as AVI or WMV, they will need to be converted with the iTunes program. Highlight the videos you need to convert and right-click to pull up a sub-menu. Select "convert" to begin the process. Alternately, you can drag the files into the iTunes conversion queue, which is on the right side of the program. You will see a notice when your files are finished converting. 4 Sync your iPod. When your new video files are ready, simply plug your iPod Classic into a USB port and then drag the video files you wish to put on your device over the iPod icon. The icon will then change to "syncing" status. Wait a few minutes while the videos are transferred. Once the icon has changed back to normal, simply press the eject button and unplug your iPod.
i recomend trying the arcsoft media converter 3 for starters and go from there
reinstall itunes and ipod software onto the computer. This will reset the settings back to default. youll also have to restore your itouch. I have an itouch as well and thats happened to me before. I restored it and reinstalled everything and it worked.
First you need to restart your itouch. Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up. Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod. What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen
Usually ITunes syncs them into a special folder called videos on your Ipod. Your videos should be managed in the same folder as well in ITunes. If you are creating video for your IPod they must follow specifications covered for creating podcasts in order to transfer them.
if you do not know your passcode then make sure it is plugged in 2 the cp and make sure the itouch is on the screen where it says enter passcode. then you hold the power and home button at the same time until the itouch completely turns off and then you keep on holding both buttons until the apple logo again. and after that appears, you let go of the power button but you keep holding the home button until the itouch says its connected to itunes. and then you are allowed to access it on itunes. then you need to restore it and it will restore ur hole ipod and there will not be a passcode anymore
