If your phone does not work with a known good battery, (and the phone should work when connected to the charger), you may have to reset the phone. The owners manual should tell you how, but make sure you back up your phonebook, etc., in case the process clears all user data.

Your battery must have been drained..test the voltage using a multitester or you can borrow a friend's battery which works on his phone..if it works on yours then your battery is drained or dead..

My vivitar x345 wont hold charge

If the recharageable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and graduallythe charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The batteryshows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops offto zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptablecharge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

I have a Storm 9530. One evening I plugged my phone into my wall charger (not computer) to charge and when I woke up the next morning... low and behold the infamous battery with red line showed on the...

It could be the charger, the phone's power interface, or your battery. When you plug the phone in to charge it, does it recognize the charger and show the lightning bolt symbol for charging?

If you use your computer's USB port to charge it instead of the wall charger, does it act any differently?

Hi! I have a problem with my Nokia 7370 : the screen is blank and nothing is happening. I tried switching it off, then on again, but no luck, I have nothing but a blank screen. Even when I plug the battery...

can u hear any sound like nokia tune which comes when u turn on your mobile? It could be because your display is damaged or not working so please visit nokia showroom and they will help you.

There can be several things which can be reason for blank screen like:
1. Your display is not working
2. Battery of mobile is not working.
3. May your mobile is not charged and charger which you are using is not working. Try charging with some other charger of nokia same pin.
4. It could be software issue. Please update software in your mobile.

60% it could be a display issue.

Shows fully charged (plug icon), but isn't taking a charge. A;ready tried reboot/restore.

Get a can of air and blow it into the 30-pin connector and headphone jack to clear the phone of dust and build-up. This should clear up the problem. I learned this from an Apple Store Genius Bar associate.
