Question about Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra MP3 Player
My zen xtra died a while ago displaying a fractured screen image saying "hardware problem", i bought a new battery, which improved things a little, getting it to display the EAX logo, but nothing else. I preseed reset while holding play, and the following menu came up:
1 Clean Up
2 format all
3 reload OS
Which of these should i try that DOES NOT erase all my tracks? I'm desperately trying to salvage the sings I have on there, many impossible to replace.
Suggestions? Thanks! Kev moore
The one definately not to touch is 2: you lose everything. The safest is 4 but doesn't really solve any problem. 3 is probably not a good solution either but maybe to try in last resort before 2. 1 sounds like it will perform a defragmentation which should not result in a loss of info on the disk.
have you tried to connect it to your pc (via usb) and looked in file explorer if it appeared there ? (try once with power off, then with power on). if you manage to connect you can then download your songs to your pc.
