Power off the printer, power the printer on and when the memory count starts in the display, press and hold the checkmark button until all three lights on front stay on. Release the checkmark and use the up arrow until display reads "cold reset" and then press checkmark again and printer will restart.

depends on which model you have, choose the correct code above. These are the HP numbers but I do not think that Troy changes them when they install the MICR upgrade.

My hp p4515 printer has an error of 59.50 7 59.40 how i can solve this problem.

59 error is a problem with the drum motor on printer. This is usually caused by a bad print cartridge, so try a new print cartridge first. If that does not solve the problem, use the control panel (up and down arrows to move options, green button to select) Arrow till display reads diagnostics, select, arrow down till display reads "component test, select and then find the drum motor test and select. If you do not hear the motor rotate then either the motor is bad or the DC controller is bad. Motor is the easiest to change and if printer appears to work otherwise, it would be the first component I would replace.

HP LaserJet P4515 Streaking

It is possible that the cleaning blade on your toner cartridge is malfunctioning. Try replacing it.If you can time it right, try shutting down printer in middle of print job when copy is between toner and fuser and see if the problem is before it reaches the fuser.

My hp laserjet 4015 is displaying an error 50.3 after printing smarged copies

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.

The 50.3 is a fuser Temperature error. If your pages have toner and image but are smudging or smearing you know the fuser is not heating and needs to be replaced.

If your printer is still under warranty contact HP Customer Care for warranty replacement of fuser part numbers: RM1-1082 for 110 volt, RM1-1083 for 220 volt. (888) 999-4747.

If your printer is out of warranty, suggest you purchase a maintenance kit part # CB388A HP maintenance kit for LaserJet P4014 P4015 P4515, includes other needed high wear parts.

Excellent Illustrations:

Maintenance Kit Contents:

1. What is included in a LaserJet P4014 P4015 P4515 maintenance kit?

2. Fuser installation.

3. Transfer roller installation.

4. Cassette feed/pickup rollers.

5. Tray 1 (manual feed) pickup rollers/feed rollers.

6. Reset the maintenance count.

How to fix error 41.3 on a HP P4515 printer. Have checked all paper settings and tray settings.Changed paper pick up rollers also.

This error means that the media in tray XX doesn't meet the specified standard of the tray. The specified tray is loaded with media that is longer or shorter in the feed direction than the size configured for the tray. Please check the paper size in current tray or touch OK to change the tray.
To resolve this issue Touch OK to display tray size. Reconfigure the size in the tray so that it uses size of media required for the print job. If the message doesn't clear automatically from the control-panel display, turn the MFP off, and then turn the MFP on.

Restart the printer and repeat the above procedure if issue is not resolved.

Cold Start

Hi patricia_kin:
Hope this helps.

Cold reset
A cold reset unlocks menus that have been previously locked and resets all control-panel menu
items to the factory defaults. A cold reset does not clear the values in the service menu, such as the
serial number and the page counts.
NOTE Before performing a cold reset, print a menu map and a configuration page. See
Information pages. Use the information on these pages to reset customer-specific settings.
CAUTION All HP Jetdirect settings are also reset. Be sure to print a configuration page
before performing a cold reset. Make note of the IP address that is listed on the Jetdirect
configuration page. You will need to restore the IP address after performing a cold reset. See
Configuring and verifying an IP address.
To perform a cold reset
Turn the MFP off and then on.
2 When the memory count appears on the control-panel display, press and hold 6 until all three
LEDs flash once and then stay on. This might take up to 20 seconds.
3 Press 3 four times until COLD RESET appears on the control-panel display.
4 Press 6 one time. The MFP continues its initialization sequence.
