Check the display again, I am pretty sure it is saying "Toner Near End" which would indicate you will need to replace the toner cartridge.

If the printer is a Samsung, then it means the toner cartridge is reaching its end of life, you need to have a new toner cartridge ready to replace the empty cartridge.

E0025-0002

Hello aki.
I recieve a grade as to how successful I fix problems. Your problem could be many things but this is a very common error and I want to provide you with this information. The problem has to do with the improper loading of the toner cartridge. RARELY is it more than that and I can step you though the fix. I just want you to understand that I have decided to help someone in need, and in the event you have a larger problem, I gave my best shot at what I know is usually a rather simple problem and we gotta start somewhere to avoid a service call. So I hope we are clear that I am sticking my neck out to the point that if this does not fix your problem I hope you know I'm sincere and that there is truly no way to know the TRUE source of this error code. So Please don't tell "FIXYA" that I was of no use. E0025 means that the motor that turns the toner bottle ( the toner bottle is turned to supply toner to the toner hopper {the toner bottle is shaped in a spiral/screw design so that turning it will push toner out} got into a bind and the electical current required to turn the bottle was sensed as being TOO HIGH. The copier sensed this and gave this error code rather than allow the motor to continue to drive the toner bottle and perhaps cause damage(broken gears etc...). I suggest that you turn the main power off, which is actually located on the right side of the copier, at the rear of the right, just below halfway down. Its a black switch very much like a light switch. Now open the toner hopper cover so that you can remove the toner bottle. Slide the black handle down that releases the toner bottle and remove it.Slide the handle back up and close the cover. Using the main power switch we used before, power up the copier. It should come to a READY condition but we hope there are no erreor codes. The copier may request toner. Ok, now we will do it correctly. Open the toner hopper cover. Slide the black handle DOWN. Load the toner bottle like this. Just roll it in with NO ANGLE at all. Use the left side of the toner bottle as a referrnce. It has "rings" around the end. Those rings need to line up with the tray it sets in.If you look closely you will see what I mean. YOU are about to load it properly but many people see the end of the toner bottle and the hole it needs to go into and attempt to "load" the bottle. What you are getting ready to do is place the bottle in the copier properly, and when you have you will move the the black handle up which WILL move and load the the bottle to the right and properly load the toner. I hope I have descibed this well enough and truly hope I have helped you as I see this problem SOOO often.I hope you don't have a toner motor gone bad which is truly rare, but happens. I wish you the best. :-) Spinal

Hi, I have this type of printer and there has been no problems..except.. i'm the new secretary and the golden drum light is on..never noticed if it was or has been always on..and the printing every 1 1/2...

Means toner cartridge is nearly to end. Just shake a little bit to distribute evenly the toner powder and be ready to purchase new toner cartridge. And is it nothing to do with the drum. Drum problem will create black shadow lines when printing.

I have a c652 biz hub keeps coming up waste toner box konika minolt printer

To replace the waste toner box, open the front door above the paper drawers. The waste toner box is on the left hand side (usually). Your supplier should have supplied an extra waste toner box. Slide out the 'full' toner box. Replace with an empty one. This should register that you have installed an empty waste toner box. If not, turn off the copier and after a minute or two, turn on the coper again. [If you want to be environmental friendly, the toner box has a small slide cover approximately 1-2cm long (usually on the upper face at the rear as you remove it). Place this end in a plastic bag, slide open this 'cover' and rotate the toner box 180° so this is facing down. Care needs to be taken to prevent the 'waste toner' from flying everywhere. Gently agitate the box until all the waste toner (a grey color) has spilled out. (Approximately 600-800gms) Carefully seal the bag and dispose. An industrial vacuum cleaner can be used to remove the residual toner, clean down the waste toner box with a soft rag and it is ready to re-use.]

Toner Life End message on DCP-7040

If your cartridge has a lever on the left side near the rear, it needs to be reset, and there's a lever inside on the left that can stick and cause that error. You need to wiggle and pull that lever until it moves freely again.

Adding developer

If you buy a new toner cartridge the developer is already in it.
Are you mixing ink and toner to rebuild cartridges?
If your just a user, once you replace the toner cartridge you have added new ink with the developer in it.
If you are not mixing and rebuilding the toner cartridge, and installing a new one, You do not need developer.

You need to replace the drum and toner to correct the issue. That's the sign of the drum at its end of life.
