SOURCE: my icemaker is making huge chunks of ice in bin

You will need to replace the termination thermostat. What sounds like is happening is. Every 8 to 10 hr. your freezer goes into defrost for a set period of time. There is a termination thermostat that senses the temp at you evaporator coil in you freezer. When you heaters come on they defrost the ice from your coil. once the termination thermostat senses the temp has gotten to a preset degree, it cuts the power to the heaters. This keeps the heaters from staying on the whole period and making your freezer warm. After the pre set time period the timer turns the compressor back on. What it sounds like is happening is the termination thermostat is not opening, cutting the heaters off. By not doing so, it's letting your freezer get above freezing, melting your ice some. When the timer advances into cooling again it freezes your ice together. I would say it's your water valve leaking but that would make large pieces of ice that the ice maker has trouble dumping and also sometimes a large chunk that does not look like cubs. That would also eventually freeze the inlet tube closed..

SOURCE: The ice maker makes big chunks of ice instead of

What is the model number of your Samsung? Sounds to me thatit's continuing to fill even after the water control valve closes or the ice maker has a set screw under the front cover with a plus and minus symbol. Minus = less time for water. Most are 7.5 seconds but if electronic type won't be able to change that time. Now if the valve is the reason then we can get that as soon as you find the model number, Thanks, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: water leaking in ice cube

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. Are you sure water is leaking? This ice bucket is famous for all the ice clumping together! Some of the reasons are,Not using the ice dispenser enough,Crushed ice getting stuck in the ice chute door allowing warm air in to melt the ice,Ice door not closing all the way,Opening and closing the freezer door allot,But like mentioned before not using it every day is the main reason. You should remove the bucket every couple weeks and run hot water through it.If it ever gets stuck on the door you have to remove as much ice as possible and then use hot water to pour in there and catch the water out of the ice dispenser until it will break free. There are allot of service calls for this and never have i seen any icemaker that leaks if it is you have to replace it.
Thank You and please rate my answer if it was helpful..

I have an electrolux double door freezer on the bottom. the ice maker leakes water from the back and water drips from the dispenser inthe front. the cubs in the tray clump together does anyone help me...

That is simply your dual water control valve found on the back of most refrigerators. If I had your model number I would be able to point out the part number and location. Here is what happens. The water valve begins to slowly leak water that comes to the ice maker when not needed. It moves slow enough that it begins to freeze solid inside the fill tube to ice maker and when the ice maker calls for water there is a big chunk of ice in the way and the water goes everywhere but where it should. Here is a short clip with lots of info, Please Rate and Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice cubes melting and then sticking together

If you have dispenser to get ice or water, there is a cover to it that opens and closes as you ask for ice. If that mechanism is not working it stays open all the time and causes your ice to melt because cold air scapes. You should be able to replace that yourself. Sears sells that part. It is not very expensive. There is a cover over the dispenser pannel. It should right behind it
If you Agur that suppose to turn the ice to dispense, that could burn up too because the agur can not turn all chunk of ice

The bin on my ice maker forms big chunks of ice

check the freezer temperature, it should be between 0-8 degrees Fahranheit. If it is warmer than 10-12 degrees, the ice maker may not produce any ice, OR cause the thaw-freeze cycle resulting in chunks. Check your door seals and thermostat, repair/replace as necessary.

Ice cubes made by ice maker become large fused chunks over time.

Ice cubes will deteriorate over time if not used. They shrink due to defrosting of the freezer and will become stale.
Once the ice bin is full, turn the ice maker off until you use the cubes and or dump the cubes every 3 or 4 days and start over.
