Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
I have an Acer aspire 5315-2326, Intel Celeron 550 processor: 1GB DDR2 ram, 2.0ghz, 533mhz, 1mb l2 cache.
the keyboard only works in bios and for entry to vista home basic via password after boot. after the password is entered, to access the vista user account, the laptop keyboard will not work and any key typed will give a beep. the launch bar also beeps when used. the touch pad seems to be working fine. any ideas?
Here's an idea that may help to solve the keyboard problem:
Open the control panel and select the keyboard icon. On the hardware tab, check to see if the Acer launch manager keyboard driver is enabled and working properly. If the driver is properly installed then the internal keyboard cable may be loose.
I thank you for giving a rating to this solution if it has been helpful.
Have a great day,
