Do a quick click of the button on the left side of the mouse. this is the same button that started up the magnifyer. Holding this button down will result in another action. k

i assume this is a wireless device, i had a similar problem when the reciever was too close to tv/monitor/wifi router the interference tended to mess things up or make it appear dead. if its IR (infared) make sure nothing is blocking the reciever. if all else fails i bought another set for like 20bucks @ any box store. could also try reinstalling driver if it came with a cd/disk

Using another keyboard/mouse while in Windows, Go to Start, then right click My Computer and click Properties. Then goto Device Manager. Do you see any exclamation marks or question marks? If so, you may need a permanent driver and Windows is using a plug and play that is not working correctly or taking too long to load.

My mouse wont allow me to right click, I hear the click but nothing shows up on the computer.

Click the Windows 'Start' button
Click Control Panel
Click Mouse
Check that some "action" is associated with the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button.

Try the mouse on some other computer, to see if the button works on that computer.

I have the same Athletic Works stopwatch. I just figured out how to turn off the alarm: press either of the two mode buttons (middle top, or bottom right) until you see the regular time displayed (the seconds will be changing, but nothing else, and nothing will be flashing). Press and hold the reset button (top left); while holding down the reset button, press the start/stop button (top right). Watch the bell icon on the display in the upper right corner; with each press of the start/stop button you will see the bell either appear or disappear. When the bell disappears, release the reset button. The alarm is now off.

It might be due to corrupt Mouse drivers:

1. Open device manager.
2. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
3. Right click on the listed Mouse device.
4. Right click on it and choose uninstall.

Restart the computer.

Upon restart the computer will find the missing drivers for Mouse and re-installs them accordingly.

Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen to make the taskbar reappear. If you want this to display at all times, right-click on any blank area of the taskbar and select Properties. Clear the checkbox next to Auto-hide the taskbar.

Faulty mouse

You need to check your settings by going to Start-----Control Panel------Mouse. Make sure everything is normal. If its all good from there, try a different mouse. The software installation should have nothing to do with your mouse function.
