My remote wont work rca 40 inch lcd

Check the remote by looking through a digital camera at the remotes light while pressing the remote buttons if you see the light then the remotes working and you most likely need to replace the IR sensor. You can get the remote and the IR sensor from www.tvrepairworld.com

My TV1 remote control wont work after dark It works fine during the day but as soon as the sun goes down it wont work to cahne channels. The volume always works. Any ideas?

Hi, i Think the remote, has some dust or substance inside that is making it not to function properly.

You can open up the remote and clean up the inside and try it again.

After doing that, if still does not work, that means you will have to get a replacement remote..

Thanks for using fixya,....

Remote wont work

You need to have that serviced,it sounds like the IR (infrared) reciever board is faulty. you can test your remote by turning the top of the remote (where the IR beam is sent from) to a camera phone and just look at the beam through your phone to see if its the remote or the IR Board
