Speak nicely to honda dealer and see if the remote fob was recorded whenthe car was new.
The dealer may have software to get the info from your car, or, possibly phone an Auto locksmith ... they should be able to supply you with a new fob (prob who the dealer use anyway).
Do not try to by pass the immobiliser system....its doing its job!
Cheers
Roger

You may need to order a key remote from the manufacturer.

SOURCE: Car alarm stopped working.. Car wont start

the jetta has a faulty alarm system from the factory i have been working on one in my shop. the alarm moddule is inside the dash behind the light switch and has a 10 pin connector and a 6 pin connector. this can be bypassed if you disconnect both connectors and jump the two large wire on the 6 pin connectors, these wires operate your starter. the car will start and run but your alarm will no longer be active. the door locks and everthing else will still work. the only issue i am having is the factory radio isn't working because it is controlled by the alarm. but worse case scenario i can use an aftermarket radio if need be.

Is this a factory alarm, or after market? If its a factory alarm you can disarm the sytem using the key, insert into the door and turn the key so the door unlocks, this will disable the alarm.

If it's an aftermarket installed by a stereo shop, there should be a valet switch under the dash or somewhere, put the key in the ignition, turn forward and flip the dip switch in the other direction. If not, then you will need to go under the dash, find the alarm box and pull the plug out.

Lost my remote keyless entry remote for my 2002 sedan honda accord. i was looking for a way to get into my car without my car alarm going off. or if i could remove the alarm fuse so this stops completely

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You may be able to call a locksmith that can get inside the car or tell you how to without setting the alarm off. That is very hard to do. You can always call the dealership and get one made. Even the locksmith may be able to make you a key. If you had a slap jack, you could probably get it done. You may be able to borrow one at the local police office. They may be able to come out and do it for you to. But as long as you have the VIN number, you can get a key from the dealership. You might be able to reach the door with a metal coat hanger. You can slide it through the door and if you bend it right, you can unlock the car.

I just changed the battery in my 2002 honda accord and now the alarm keeps going off. i did what the manual told me to about putting the ignition key in the door and unlock it then lock it back then unlock...

The remote has lost the ability to communicate with car. Put the key on the ignition, press on the remote (button for unlocking) and dont let go, turn the ignition to the #2 position (radio on) and you should see the key emoticon flashing in the dashboard, then let go of the remote button. repeat operation just to make sure. If you have a spare remote, do the same. This applies to the PRESTIGE alarm system, will probably work on superlock too, if your Accord has that option.

93 chevy lumina. alarm went off and car wont start. lost remote disconected battery re conected, but car will not start what can be done

I take it your alarm has remote start? If so, pull the panel above the drivers feet and look for where the yellow "start" wire has been cut and each end will be ran separately into your alarm. reattach both ends of the yellow wires.

Car wont start

Sounds like you have a shorted wire causing a drain. I recommend disconnecting the alarm all together which should stop the short so battery can remain fully charged.

My 2002 sonata alarm wont shut off and my keyless wont stop it and the car also wont start with the key either

When the alarm is activated, there is an Anti-Theft device (Starter Kill Relay) which prevents anyone from starting the engine using the key (about 5 minutes). If you place the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "RUN" position, wait 5 minutes (approx), the engine should then be able to start. If not, the problem may be the ETACS (Electronic Time & Alarm Control System) module. If it does start, the problem may simply be that the battery in the keyless remote is weak/dead, or the remote needs to be programmed again for that vehicle. Only the remote can 'DEACTIVATE' the alarm. Best solution, take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

Lost keyless entry remote

The fuse for the alarm is under the hood. Give a good look and you should find it. Once you have pulled it it will deactivate the alarm I am not sure if this is exactly your problem since you said that the car wont start.... but it is worth a try.
