Opening the door tripped breaker a few times, now microwave will not power on.

Sounds like a bad switch should have three primary, secondary, and monitor switch after 5 years change all 3 they are not the same primary and secondary are NO ( normally open ) and the monitor NC ( normally closed ) unit will not come on the fuse on the filter board is blow this usually shorts out the filter board change the switches first and replace fuse may not have to replace filter board hopes this helps.

My dcs mo-24-Ss microwave oven cannot heat the food after turn on, everything working fine other than no microwave come out

Assuming the turntable, inside light, and internal cooling fan all work when you press "Start" to cook, then I would suspect a bad magnetron, or a bad connection at the "FA" terminal of the magnetron.

If one or more of those three items do not work when you hit "Start", the I would suspect a bad door switch or mount.

The DCS MO24SS is essentially a rebranded Sharp R-530E-series microwave with different cosmetics and a higher price.

The service manual for the Sharp model is here.

The internal Sharp parts in the manual will interchange, but not the external cosmetic parts.

You can order Sharp parts from Encompass here.

We have magic chef Over the Range Microwave Oven Model: MCO153U. Microwave was dead and no power

The original problem, was probably caused by a bad door switch along with the fuse, now there is a good chance the control panel is damaged, you will need a professional to assess if the item is worth fixing.

Emerson model 8117w stop working all at once

This microwave has three door interlock switches and a fuse that are easily replaced by the consumer. Unplug the microwave. Remove the cover by unscrewing the 5 screws on the cover. Four are on the back, one on the lower right. One or more of the screws may be torx T15S (security)(bit available at hardware stores). As in all microwaves the capacitor should be discharged by shorting the cap terminals together. Note that the three switches are in a single black plastic carrier. Remove the two screws securing the carrier and the switches can be released by hand. Replace one at a time so as not to confuse the wiring which is push on spade terminals. Replace the fuse with a 20 amp 125v slow blow (radio shack). Do not plug in power until all the switches are reinstalled as a safety feature will cause the fuse to blow again. If fuse blows repeatedly it is most likely that all three interlock switches are not closing properly. Check to make sure that all switches are seated correctly in the black plastic switch carrier and that the 2 carrier screws are tight. Observe the switches as the door is closed. Replace switches and/or carrier as needed. While the cover is off you may want to clean off the fan and/or replace the bulb. Also check for proper seating of the control board connections.

Microwave shuts off by itself

The microwave has a safety door switches (2-3 micro switches)
The door mechanism should hit these micro switches. If you can open the machine, you can see that these micro switch has a holder that you can adjust and tighten to make sure that the hook of the door should activate them.

Replace handle on Model JVM1350AW 002

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Timer works but No Go

Had the exact same problem on my Mom and Dads Whirpool microwave. The szm-v16-fa-63 interlock switch basically burned out. That switch must be closed in order for the motor to rotate and for the magnetron to radiate the heat. Took it out and tested it with my multimeter and the switch provided only intermittent continuity when button was pressed. A new one is around $3 (USD) from what I googled. I might just jump the two wires that were on each pole of the switch but that would be bypassing a safety device and is never recommended. A new switch should do the trick I think the original one has an intrinsic flaw that causes it to fail so rapidly.

When working on a microwave make sure to disconnect the magnetron and be extra carefull. When I need to test and make sure everything works I usually pop in a damp paper towel and nuke it for a few secs.

Sanyo ems665w microwave working but not heating

Generally, the most common causes of a failure to heat are:

- bad door switches or door switch mounts
- loose connection at the magnetron
- problem or loose connection on the control unit circuit board
- bad magnetron or other high voltage part (such as a shorted diode)

Everything went

No reset button, but there's probably a ceramic type fuse inside. If you replace it and it blows again, then the unit needs serviced.

Safety first! Unplug before taking apart. Put back together before plugging back in (unless you know what you are doing).

Your model number prefix of 721 means it's made by LG / Goldstar.

F9 code on an LG means either a bad door switch or a loose door switch mount.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside.

This can be caused by slamming the door or by habitually opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.
