SOURCE: After inserting and compressing the CO2 cartridge, the CO2 leaks

You need to check the rubber o-ring seals both in the plug and there could be another up in the gun where the cartridge end meets the inside. If you have a broken o-ring you should be able to find one that fits at your local hardware store or store that sells air rifles. Hope this helps.

How to fix the leak on my c02 .22 air rifle

There is a tiny spanner nut over the tiny "O" ring seal for the CO2 cartridge. You must find a tool to remove that, it is pinned in there and it will likely break when you try to remove it, if so sorry but the gun is then just so much junk.

Time to buy a new model. I had 2 of those with similar problems and couldn't find parts. Try the CO2 model 1088. I'm happy with mine. Spray the seals with silicone spray monthly or every 2 cartridges.

Bb gun trouble

Could possibly be simply the time it takes to pierce the seal until it actually seats itself on the gasket. I usually wind up the screw until it is ready to puncture the seal and then I wind up for a quick twist in order to make it seat quicker.
