SOURCE: insufficient cooling

Sounds like an absoption fridge with a blockage or leak.

Just to be sure.... How do you know the boiler is working? If it is hot to the touch, then is is working, otherwise it is not.

If it is working (hot to the touch), then it should be the same temperature to the touch as the fridge coils. If the coils are much cooler or much warmer than the burner tube, then you have either a leakage or a blockage. Either way, you need to replace either your cooling unit or entire fridge.

If the boiler tube is not hot when the fridge is turned on, then you have a blown fuse or faulty control board. Or you have no power going to the fridge.... :)

SOURCE: refrigerator and freezer not cooling

Check for frost coating back panel in freezer-lower half-if frost is visible, you have a defrost problem, and air channels behind panel are blocked with ice/.frost build up.

SOURCE: Freezer stoped cooling

Check the relay on the compressor. It sounds like the relay is not kicking on the Compressor like it shorted out. You can check it with a multi meter, it should be 110 volts or more if there is less or if you see a burn mark replace it. They are about 30 dollars at a local appliance shop

Danby DPR2262W propane refrigerator stopped cooling

OK-to make this short-you either have a boiler tube blockage or Hydrogen diffusion. If your cooling unit quit suddenly, you more than likely have a boiler tube blockage due to precipitation of Sodium Chromate. If your cooling unit gradually quit working it's Hydrogen diffusion. This process is not easy to understand, and I won't bother you with the details as to why.By the way, burping is a myth,it dosen't work.If there is a blockage in your cooling unit turning your refrigerator upside down won't dislodge it.Danby dosen't make stand alone Propane refrigerators anymore, and since the cooling unit is foamed into the box,it's a throw away refrigerator. You will have to get a Servel RGE 400 made by Dometic. It's the same size as the Danby and I have those for a very good price.Go to: www.marvinspropanerefrigerators.com

Refrigerator does not get cold. The freezer works fine, but the fridge only gets slightly cool.

normaly the fridge has its own thermostat to keep the tem right, if this thermostat has stoped working it will do one of two things,,, freez every thing up as it wont turn off the compressor or will just stop working as it wont turn on the compressor,,, try turning up the thermostat first,

Refrigerator stoped cooling

Ok, if the unit compressor will not run and just clicks on and then off, this will confirm a low charge state ad you will need to recharge this unit. the refrigerant level is low.

Purchasing a recharge kit and recharging the system will fix this issue.

Refigerator leaked water slightly then stoped cooling

Yes try to turn with a screw driver if possible. If it start working replace timer. If not it can be low on freon you would see frosting but no cooling.
