My bedroom TV/DVD combo is only a cheapie, but I really value it. It used to be multi-region, but then the screen started saying, 'no disc' from time to time.. By perservering with the open/close command, it would eventually play. Now, however, it just says 'no disc' constantly. It'll play CD's all day long, but nothing else.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I dont know is this work in your brand, but we dont lost nothign whit try it: 1. Open the tray
2. press the following sequence using the number keys: 98790 (this
is equivalent to the code 9879 with the zero at the end representing
3. Press Close Tray - there should be a sign on the TV screen saying something like 'Region set to 0'
4. Turn off the DVD player for 5 seconds
5. Turn on the DVD player.
I have seen this before with some rental DVDs. If you can play the other discs that you have without problem, then the issue is with this disc. Whether or not it is actually a region 2 discs or if it is just defective would be debateable but moot.
If you have the same problem with all of your discs, then the problem is in the set. There just might be a firmware upgrade available for this set to correct that problem, if it is not the disc itself. Contact customer service at 800-631-3811 and they should be able to help with a firmware issue.
