Firefox freezes

I'm assuming you're saying the Firefox App freezes. There are lots of possibilities, one of which could be an issue with the version of Flash Player installed on your Tablet. Install the latest version and try again.

Mozilla browser freezes

Make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox. Also if you have recently added any new extensions, try disabling them and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Freezing and stalling

Okay, let's check out a few things. Have you installed any new plugins are extensions for Firefox? You may need to uninstall one of those to keep your browser from slowing so much. Often times, though, this simply isn't enough.

Firefox could have a corrupt profile, a bogged down profile, or simply may just need to be freshened up. The easiest way is to follow the instructions here.

Make sure you follow the directions on how to backup your profile! Good luck!

So is there a solution?

There was a warning on Yahoo a while back about an issue with Firefox and Flash, I believe. Just as you went to Yahoo mail this warning popped up saying you had Firefox and Flash and you may have trouble with Yahoo mail.

Let's update the software(s) in question and that should clear things up.

First, update Firefox by going to "Help" at the top right of the menu bar. You should see something about updating there. Click it and follow the prompts.

Secondly, make sure your Flash is completely updated. Go to the Adobe Flash website (Click here...) and install the latest and greatest version. Make sure you're in Firefox when you do this!

If all else fails, use Internet Explorer or some other web browser to access Yahoo mail until everything shakes out. You'll probably get updates over time that will help this problem (if we don't fix it first).

Good luck! Remember to rate the solutions!

Firefox freezes, more and more often. I surf the web and suddenly Firefox freezes.

Clear cache and temporary files (Tools>Clear Private Data).
Select as many options as you can.
