Question about Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7813 Notebook

1 Answer

So I managed to get my laptop past the " Toshiba Leading Innovations >>> " Screen but it's stuck on the black loading screen before you get to log on. I have no clue what the hell is wrong an

This laptop has never acted this way before and I took a bit of advice from a few people who helped which the battery trick did work but I also downloaded a recovery disk that had been suggested as well. When I turned on my laptop it had went to the title screen and then it went past after a few seconds-minutes as if it were turning on... But then the laptop just stopped at the loading screen as if it were loading up and going to bring the login screen-- which it never did and I'm just clueless as to what I'm going to do. I think the best thing for me to do is to get a new laptop at this point. But please help if you can~ Thank you !!

Toshiba satellite c855-s5315 reset help please

This sounds like you have corrupt files in storage.
If you have made a boot disk or flashed a usb flash drive with the operating system, you may be able to recover your disk integrity.
If not and you cannot complete the steps below, contact TOSHIBA
Hope this helps
1. Type in the words "recovery media creator" anywhere on this screen. As you start typing the Windows 8 Search box will open.
2. As you type the name of the app you will see an app list show up onthe left
3. Click on the "recovery media creator" app
. Select [Yes] to allow the Toshiba App to make changes to this computer
5. Insert a DVD in your disc drive and select [Create]
6. You will prompted to insert a disc after each one is filled until the completion message below appears
7. Select [OK]
This completes you backup media recovery set!

AFTER YOU ON THE SYSTEM BEFORE WINDOWS STARTS KEEP PRESSING THE F8 KEY CONTINUEOUSLY. A MENU WILL APPEAR. SELECT SAFE MODE AND ENTER. WINDOWS WILL LOAD IN SAFE MODE. THIS WILL SOLVE SOME OF YOUR PROBLEMS. NOW RESTART THE SYSTEM IN NORMAL MODE.

IF THIS DOES NOT WORK SELECT "LOAD WINDOWS WITH LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION " AND THEN RESTART. THIS WILL SURELY SORT OUT YOUR PROBLEM.

Toshiba m115-s3094 won't go past black start up screen

try pressing f8 when it starts up and selecting safe mode then click start > programs > accessories > system tools > system restore and try restoring to an a time when it did boot up ok.

If you dont even get a menu up when you press f8 then try f11 or f12 for a boot menu and select ide 0 it may be that it is trying to boot from another device

Does Not Turn On

First thing you're gonna want to try is reseating the memory.

Second, see if you can get into the bios by pressing F2, F10, DEL key it depends see if you see something on the screen, sometimes pressing ESC does it. It all depends.

Try that first and let me know what happens.

Yes, it could be stuck in hybernation

Or.. Check to See if the Lid Switch is Stuck Down... Some laptops have alittle Movable plastic pin that depresses when the lid is closed to turn the screen off... this can sometimes get stuck down to the board button.. causing the symptoms youre experiencing
