SOURCE: need help programming wii console remote

take off the battery compartment for the Wii Remote, and you should see a small red sync button. While the Wii is on, open up the flap for the SD cards, and you should see a red sync button on the Nintendo Wii. While holding the red sync button for the Wii Remote, press and hold the red sync button on the Nintendo Wii. After a few seconds, put the battery cover back on, and test the Wii Remote. Have any questions, feel free to ask. Use the add more details part in your question to ask any more questions. Thank you and have a good day.

SOURCE: Wii console to Philips HDTV Connection not working

In order to use the 480p (HDTV/EDTV) resolution, you MUST be using the Wii Component Video Cable. Any other cable will not display the 480p resolution, you have use the 480i (Standard) instead. You can order the Wii Component Video Cable through Nintendo's Web site. Using that cable, you can select the 480p resolution. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: replacement console

Unplug unit then remove the upper console, their are 4 allen bolts holding it udder the console their is a panel held by 4 phillips head screws also remove them . Look inside the compartment and their should be two connections, disconnect them. Now pull console off its tower. Lay it upside down on a thick towel remove all phillip head screws you'll notice where the emergency stop button is connected. I have found that this connection 7 out of 10 times is causing the problem. Buy cutting the lead connector stripping the wires and soldering back on the male connection will resolve the problem. If not their is a emergency stop kit may be purchased and replace. The only other thing that may cause the problem is the function key pad itself. Try the first solution if your not good in soldiering go to a computer shop , t v shop they should be able to do this very quickly for while your at let the check the switch itself.

Stairmaster won't have a continuous workout

My Stairmaster unit seems to work in manual mode, but resets when I select a program. What is wrong? It is possible that the console on your Stairmaster unit may not be configured for the appropriate machine. This can result in the console accepting and allowing a manual workout but not accepting or allowing a program. Stairmaster Units Works in Manual Mode but Not in Program

It turns on and comes onto a report problem so i send it but sometimes a report problem doesn't come up nether the less either way it starts for about 7 seconds then just freezes won't let me move...

SAFE MODE:

1. Place you finger on the on/off sensor leave it their until you console turns off then take you finger off the sensor.

2. Place your finger back on the on/off sensor leave it their until you hear 2 consecutive beeps then take your finger off.

3. Once the safe mode screen comes on select the option PS3 SYSTEM RESTORE.

NOTE: A PS3 system restore will delete all data except the OS. I recommend backing up your console onto a USB flash drive if possible.

Good Luck!

Try to put in disc and it clicks and the disc won't go in.

Hi,
Hopefully this will help solve your problem:
1. Press and hold down the power button located at the front of the PS3 console, until you hear a first beep, then eventually a second – before the console shuts down, then let go of the button;
2. Now press and hold the button again until you hear a first beep, then a second beep then eventually a quick double-beep, then let go of the button;
3. The TV screen should now display a six option menu, where you can select what’s required, i.e. `Restart System`, `Restore System` etc. `Reset System` should only be used after other attempts with the other options, as your game saved data may be lost. If you play Modern Warfare 2 online, then this won’t be affected as your data is saved on the Sony Server.
4. During any of the above actions, your best having your handset controller connected to the PS3 via the USB cord, which includes pressing the `P` button when required (located between `Start` and `Select`).
These actions should help solve `freeze` problems and others such as update errors etc – which restrict you starting up or playing your console.

Calypso beeping

The washer has a stuck keypad on the console. One of the buttons are stuck and the washer thinks you are holding that button in so it is beeping and will not allowing you to select anything else. It is hard to tell which button it is, although narrowing it down does not help anyway. The console with keypad is sold as one piece and would include the whole console facia and all the buttons. The model number provided is missing 2 digits on the end (ex. GVW9959KL1) and color is also needed for part number but they all seem to retail for $181 or close.
Thank you

Carried out an update, but now stuck in loop

Procedure for Entering Safe mode when PS3 is caught in update loop:

When you first turn on the PS3, it will not allow you to go into Safe mode. You must prepare it for this.

link for flash drive prep:
http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3/pc_update.html#update_PC

(This will not work for the drive that currently is caught in the update loop. You must take the hard drive out of the PS3 and temporarily replace it with another 2.5” SATA drive. Note: temp drive may need to be initialized… Connect drive to pc, right click on My Computer and select Manage… Then select disk Management… you will then be presented with a dialogue box that will assist in initializing the disk.. However, only initialize it… Do Not Format it!(waste of time) Once the disk is initialized disconnect it from external enclosure or shut down computer and remove disk)

From the top:

1.) Plug in PS3 and flip switch in back of PS3 to on. Red LED in front of PS3 should light up. Also, plug in Controller at this point.
2.) Hold finger to I/O button on front of PS3 – Green LED lights up
a. You will hear one beep, then another single beep, then a final beep and the PS3 will power off again and Red LED will be on
3.) Hold finger to I/O button on front of PS3 – Green LED lights up
a. You will hear one beep, then another single beep, then two beeps
4.) As soon as you hear the two beeps, hold PS button on Controller
a. You will then be presented with an options screen
i. Restart System -- leads back to update loop
ii. Restore Default Settings --
iii. Restore File System -- leads back to update loop (8002F14E)
iv. Rebuild Database --
v. Restore PS3 System --
vi. System Update -- will cause error
5.) You will then remove the temporary SATA drive from the PS3 and replace it with the hard drive that is caught in the update loo
6.) I am currently stuck attempting to Restore Default Settings and Im sure it will end in error, but i have to try all possible solutions.
