I solved the problem. Blues are generated from Cyan. The readings indicated that I had ample supply. The issue I determined was that this cartiridge was a standard not high capacity. Once I changed the setting it then indicated it was empty....

Solved by myself. No more help needed...

Go into the menu, choose engine, then replace toner, then choose the colour, then press enter and the right toner will be presented to you.
or try this
Some units have a rotating drum system and will not present the cartridge for replacement until the device asks for the new toner cart.

You either have a defective cartridge or a defective feed from the cartridge, these are the only reasons this will happen, the cartridge is the most common problem.

My canon MX 410 is printing blue as pink

the fast and sure way is to reinstall both the program and the printer drivers. when uninstalling, make sure to delete user settings as well if the uninstaller ask for it. next, reboot your computer and reinstall drivers and software.
if the problem's still there, you can try replacing the cartridge again. if it's still not better after a few full page color prints, the printer is broken.

All color images are printing pink/orange. all inks are only 1% used. the very first photo i printed was beautiful. every photo since has been the pink orange color. even the black is not printing well

This sounds like a blue ink cartridge failure or a clogged blue ink nozzle. If you have cleaned the nozzles, I would try another blue cartridge. if this does not solve the problem more aggressive cleaning may be required. Let me know and we can go throught the process. Thanks.

The printer does not print reds and pinks

Follow www.kodak.com/go/itg and try the step by step solution. If issue persists,Call Kodak @1800 421 6699 and get a new printhead free of cost.....Printhead has gone bad and it is the part in which we install the ink cartridges. It takes the ink out of the cartridges and spit the ink on the papers,...Cheers and Enjoy..

I bought new ink black and color but i try to print in pink and i can't how can i print in pink

Hi alexgallo01
Do you get other colours except pink?
If that is the case, reasons could be:
1. there is not enough RED or BLUE in the cartridge.
2. you haven't selected pink colour on the text or images you are trying to print.
If you are typing a document highlight the text you want in pink, and choose PINK color for the font.
Then print the document. The printer will use color closest to your choice, if it does not have the exact color.
Hope this will help.
If it help you, please give a rating

Pink copies

Hi,

Most printers is run by 4 colors black and the colored is basically yellow red blue. (or may called it magenta cyan etc)

1. One of you colored ink runs out that why you cant make any colored.
2. Or one of the basic color might be clog up, dry or simply empty.
3. you need all the 3 colors to make all the colors available.

e-mail me at wendel_tenebroso@yahoo.com

good luck

Colors

Did you run a quality test print by pressing ink etc...?

It might be that you have no magenta anymore.

If you can see all the 4 colored blocks on the test sheet, firstly try to copy(!) a picture with pink colors and secondly run a pc print. If there is still no pink and you have it blue or green on the COPY one the scanner needs readjustment (from service personell). If you have trouble with the pc printing, too there might be
a defective ink cart holder which leaks and mingles the ink (you need a new ink cart holder then)

MFC-9840 prints vertical stripe ~2" from right edge on all color printouts

Hi,
The first thing i would try to do is clean the corona wire on the drum unit. It might also be a faulty magenta cartridge.
